We're an 8 team, 2 QB Dynasty league.

Garoppolo just got cut.

Should I drop Romo and stash Garo? Does he have a future as a starter, or is he just the backup for life?

I cant imagine he has much value in a 12 team league, let alone an 8 teamer.

I have Brees, Carr and Winston, so my "Right now" is pretty good. I want to drop Romo (Let's face it, he's done) for some kind of stash but the wire is really thin

Those are about the only guys under 30 on there.... ANY of those 4 have starter potential moving foraward? (AS I said I;m not worried about this season on this particular move, I am thinking a year, 2, even 3 down the road...)

Of those listed I would say Garoppolo has the most potential to be a starter.  Boykin isn't doing anything with Wilson in front of him and the other two guys already had chances.  Why are set on trying to get a QB for that flier spot?  In an 8 team 2QB league I would think you could always find someone in a pinch.  Roll with your 3 locked in and if you need to pick up a 4th wait until next year's draft. 

Guys I think might be worth a shot though would be Nassib (NYG) or Hundley (GB)

Garoppolo is the best of any of those options you listed if you really want to pick him up.  He won't start this year unless Brady is hurt.  Next year is really unknown. Pats could trade him like Cassel, but I'm not sure teams will give enough after the Cassel deal.  With Brady being 41, having a good backup is not a bad thing for the Patriots for the next few years.

Just be aware this is a long term stash but could pay off nicely if he is traded.

(Gally there really isn't someone to find in a pinch.... yes it's only 8 teams , but EVERYONE carries the max 5 QB's - more in most cases because of IR(Doesn't count against the 5 position cap) and the WW is insanely picked over. Qb is the one position that there is really absolutely nothing to get, AND I traded away my 1st rounder next season (I am in 1st place and am going all out right now) so a late 2nd rounder won't be getting me anything good at QB anyway.)
