I'm shocked when I hear things like "I hate deer. Kill em all"!

Its a wild animal and not generally dangerous. If you want to protect your property it's your responsibility to do so without harming wildlife unneccesarily. Put up a fence or something if it's that big a nuisance. It's not like we are talking about feral pigs destroying land and spreading disease. It's deer.

Tick-borne diseases (for example, Lyme Disease) is often cited as a problem in areas with large deer populations.

My 3 year old has this covered.  He pees everywhere outside.  He doesn't even bother going to a tree.  He just drops and pees.  Waiting for him to do it at daycare.

Yeah, Lyme disease is a real hoot.  Our dog is getting over a case of it.
