I was wondering if anyone knew of the general role of that of a slot receiver. Is this the position that benefits the WR the most as far as production goes?
Specifically I'm looking at Chris Chambers who I have. Roto has a blurb about the Dolphins wanting to use him more in the slot. Good or bad? Does that mean more receptions but less yards? More yards but less receptions? More/less td opportunities? etc.
