I fail to see any humor in this. It is sad and disheartening, I am not sure what Geno Smith did to engender so much dislike that people are actually happy to see this happen to him. It is a real shame too because I didn't think the book was written on his career (still don't) and I think Chan Gailey was a good fit to help develop Smith as a QB.

Fitzpatrick is certainly the better QB today and has familiarity with Gailey so it will be good for the Jets in the short term (very short term) but what does that mean? A .500 record (at best) and still needing to see if Smith can develop into a legitimate NFL QB? Fitz is not the answer for any team at QB, he is a journeyman who can hold down the fort for a few weeks at the most. No, this is a bad thing for the Jets, for the idiot who punched him and most of all for Geno.

Enemkpali has an assault charge from 2011, he could get some jail time from this. Whatever he has is gonna be taken in a civil trial regardless.
