Have not seen it but saw Criterion is releasing it so I will probably but it when they do their next sale. It is supposed to be great, maybe his best movie.

Erich Wolfgang Korngold was a pioneer in making movie music exciting and part of the attraction of the movies themselves. This 1940 score from an Errol Flynn swashbuckler hints at what John Williams would do 40 years later.

Hollywood work paid the bills for Korngold but his violin concerto is worth a listen.

With an organ?

I don't know where the organist is seated. He or she wasn't visible from our seats in the terraces. The pipes were right behind us so we sure heard the organ.

The instrument gets used more for choral performances.

Post-Piper and pre-DSOTM, Pink Floyd scored several European art house films, including La Vallee. The soundtrack was released under the name Obscured By Clouds, the title of one of the songs. Of the soundtrack's three instrumentals, this one is the most "Floydian" but also should fit well on the mix.
