I started a thread about this once. I wanted to know if the protagonist was trying to escape or kill himself, as Cash intones. Now it's dwelled upon almost to excess that Cash went to prison to perform these songs, but this one? Cash gets extra bonus points for playing this mother####er in a prison.

I bought some hemp flower today. I got some CBG without THC, and some CBD without THC. When I was doing physical therapy for a month 1/2, my physical therapist told me he uses CBD Isolate in the morning and night for anxiety. It can also be used for inflammation, pain, etc. He puts it under his tongue and lets it dissolve. I got some about a month ago, and I do think it helps some, but it does make me thirsty a couple hours after I've taken it sublingually. I've put it in cocoa too. Anyway, I decided I'd like to experiment with smoking some hemp flowers sometimes, and see if I get any benefits from it. It would hit my bloodstream faster. I don't like the taste of smoke though, but I can always brush my teeth afterwards.

When I was in the store it reminded me of going in head shops back in college. I bought a cheap pipe, some organic papers, and something called cones. Even if I don't like this method or it does nothing for me, it will still be fun rolling hemp flower joints.

I can honestly tell you this. Nothing is more frustrating than smelling it, smoking it, and nothing happening. Or the edibles that taste like pot but don't get you high.

Very much frustrating.

It isn't supposed to get you high. It does smell exactly like pot.

Oh yeah, I know that. I just associated so long with getting in a certain state of mind afterward from the smell and taste that it was a weird feeling indeed to have no THC in it but still have the sensory experience. Sort of an "If A, then B" thing. B didn't happen.

I think I did. Now I'm not sure. By avoiding saying "I didn't get high," I think I was confusing to read. I didn't high off of the stuff and given the smell and taste of it, I expected to. That's all I'm trying to say. 

In other words, there was taste and smell and no high, which was weird.

It did cross my mind that people could market these hemp flowers, and in reality they are nothing more than placebo buds, and people psychologically think it is doing something for them. 

 
A guy and girl were working in the shop, and neither had on a mask. The girl kept calling me "love," and I'm old enough to be her mother. The guy kept putting a pipe he was showing me up towards his mouth, and I told him I would take one of those, but I didn't want the one he just breathed on.

If they had a thumbs-up emoji as our immediate emojis, I would have given it. I remember when COVID first broke and I had a doctor's appointment. Guy grabs my hand and starts vigorously shaking it (this is when we did not know how it was transmitted, only that NY was in big trouble). I looked at him like "Dude, what are you doing?"

Ay de mi. So I can relate to the breathing on it thing.
