Pace yourself. There is virtually a zero chance you get two books behind before 2015.About 3/4 of the way through book 2, I may not quite make it if I don't start reading more.

From Europe? Or did you find it online?Got. Mine.

Won't risk saying anything more about it at the moment, but let's just say it was an unexpected surprise. Was hoping to have Book 4 completed by the time it showed up, but I'm only halfway through. I'll blow through these last few hundred pages and then jump into the new one. From Europe? Or did you find it online?Got. Mine.
It's got people jumping off of bridges, but I'm not too worried. That review contains nothing that wasn't already known/guessed - either through officially released chapters (Martin has had 4 or 5 in rotation on his site for years), through transcripts of various readings he's done, or through just the general info of who has chapters in the book. In fact, I'm wondering if this person even read the whole thing (or any of it) as I could've written that review without having laid eyes on the book and I'm far from the most diligent observer.'Matthias said:That review sounds underwhelming.First Reviewhttp://www.publishersweekly.com/978-0-553-80147-7

very good chances actually. I picked up a copy from BJ's on MONDAYWhat are the chances of somewhere like a Costco/BJ's/Walmart having this book on there shelves a bit early? Don't have many independent small bookstores around my area.
I got mine too. I am already scratching my head trying to remember the the Unsullied are or were.![]()

Slave warriors. Feel no pain. Took a name each day (e.g., Gray Worm) til freed.

What two shocks? I think I know one though if the second is what I think you are referring to I am convinced that it is a lie.i am pi44ed that -
we were promised Davos with Rickon in Skaagos 1/2 way through the book and we never got there!

Warning: there are major spoilers in my post and I didn't disguise what I was referring to very well to get my points across. So what are the odds that...
Jon Snow is really dead? I mean, I know GRRM isn't afraid to kill of characters but Jon, cmon... Does he get reborn by Melissandre? I feel like the cliffhanger means that Snow isn't truly dead, otherwise you don't leave it open for another possible 5 years.

YepThe character I gained the most respect for in this book was Lord Manderly. Finally, a northerner stepping up to remember the Starks. Always thought he was weak, yet he turned out to be the truest of the northerners.ETA: They ate the three missing Freys at the wedding feast right? Three pies, three Freys......
Sorry - thought I was giving my overall feelings without going into any detail. If you can infer anything specific from what I wrote, you should change your name to Kreskin. Hell, what I wrote is a lot less detailed than just about any "non-spoiler" review I read. But if you think I gave something away, I'll apologize again and delete my post. You know, the book came out less than a week ago. Can you spoiler some of this ####?
