Dont know how anyone can watch this game and not beleive that the NFL is involved in this Gambling scandal
There is no sense even watching these games if there is absolutely nothing the Giants can do to win. Insanely badly officiated game.
At min this should have been a 27 -31 games ... Who know's how it would have played out?
It's almost impossible to not call the Hurts fumble a fumble ... That's what it was (+7 eagles)
It's almost impossible to call the Slayton TD PI ... 4th and 11 from the inside their own 10 ... even the comentators and guest ref agreed (-7 Giants)
That doesnt even take the BS fall start called as offside against Thibodeux (immediatley followed by a TD +7 philly)
And the PI on Corey Black on 3rd and 11 that the commentors thought shouldnt have been called (result FG +3 Philly)
Or the ridiculous block in the back against the 100 lb soaking wet Wandale Robinson ... would have been 3rd and 1 at the Philly 49 ...(resulted in a Punt 1 play later)
And the non block in the back call against Carter (dont recall the result of that drive)
Lol
You can probably go through each and every game and find bad calls that lead to points. This game wasn't lost by NY because of the officiating. Once Skattebo got hurt, the Giants kind of felt lifeless. I see you conveniently left out some bad calls that went against Philly (like the whistle blown during the Elliot kick which should have been a retry and the Dart fumble that got overturned). I always found complaining about the refs being a loser mentality. Good teams overcome bad calls.
Not probably definitely ... But these are the ones that didnt need searching for.
These werent missed calls ... they were egregiously bad calls that continuosly went in one teams favor.
Everyone that was watching the game saw them and discussed them and questioned them during the broadcast
The Jaxson Dart fumble that got overturned didn't go in the Eagles favor. In fact, if the refs make the correct call on that play, which they didn't, then the Darius Slayton PI call 2 plays later never happens.
The Giants have no one to blame but themselves. With the score 24-13, at the start of the 4th, the Giants had the Eagles 2nd and 26 . . . how do you let Tank Bigsby get 29 yards on a draw? Like I said above, ref blaming is just a loser mentality.
ETA: Literally that little section of the game was where things went bad for NY. They could have stopped the Eagles and got the ball down 11. But they didn't, not the refs fault. The Eagles went on to score. Then the next possession for NY, was the Dart fumble fiasco. The Eagles score again and the game was over. Not the refs doing, the Giants doing.
