He's consistent and has improved greatly, led the team in tackles but that is what you expect from a MLB. He is not fast enough for the Cover 2 and lacks coverage ability. If he has DL to protect him, should be a good but not great OLB.

good point Cawdor. As a KC homer, I agree that he is not fast enuff for the Cover 2 and cannot cover. However, he has gotten much better with tackling in open space. Very good against the run... inside and outside runs. Not a bad MLB to have if you have pretty quick OLB's.
he's a step slow to the ball carrier literally. He's a pretty good tackler and everything else but if you pay attention on Sunday you'd have seen the RB is almost given that first 3 yards then he hits him. I always wished they put Scanlon in more.
BTW He'd have been a nice signing for the Giants, local boy and all.
