Anybody know Favre's whereabouts when this thing collapsed?Guess Farve needed an extra day of rest so NFL decided to accomodate him.

I think it's going to be somewhere in the MN/WI region. The Giants are not going to stand for a flight back to NYC after flying to KC, staying overnight, and flying to MN.I heard the possibilties are TCF Bank StadiumArrowHead orMeadowlandsAnybody know Favre's whereabouts when this thing collapsed?Guess Farve needed an extra day of rest so NFL decided to accomodate him.The man is a genius.

They just need to fly over to Detroit and play at a neutral similar venue. Of all the options, there is none better.
Would love that! They better get here soon though. The snow is coming this way.Wow.Outdoor football.Impact on passing game?NFL-N covering thisBrand new stadium for Univ. of Minn. - TCF Stadium - but it is outdoorsMonday forecast - 10 degrees below zero for the low.
Doubtful. A protest will come from at least one of the teams. Detroit is the answer.NFL-N covering thisBrand new stadium for Univ. of Minn. - TCF Stadium - but it is outdoorsMonday forecast - 10 degrees below zero for the low.
Makes my Detroit solution all the more obvious. I should be running the NFL.via Newsday: The Giants did not bring ANY cold weather gear.
Why don't the Vikes, City and State go whole hog and upgrade UMinn to a pro quality stadium???The Vikes made 4 Super Bowls with that late season outdoor home field advantage. Since, not one.NFL-N covering thisBrand new stadium for Univ. of Minn. - TCF Stadium - but it is outdoorsMonday forecast - 10 degrees below zero for the low.
Bud Grant would love it.Wouldn't this make the most sense assuming that travel for fans is possible? I mean, GB plays outside in frigid weather this time of year. What's the difference? In reality I REALLY hope they move it to the new TCF stadium.. Outdoor Football, wind chills around -20..![]()

When they were preparing to build a new stadium for the Gophers, the Vikings opted out of "sharing" a stadium with them. Other than revenue it made absolutely no sense to opt out. Yeah this made no sense at all to me, as a MN taxpayer who wholeheartedly opposes paying for yet another stadium. The NFL and Vikings need to pay for 100% of the costs. I'm ok with the state or a city throwing in some land and a bit of infrastructure though. When they were preparing to build a new stadium for the Gophers, the Vikings opted out of "sharing" a stadium with them. Didn't the state (and I don't know maybe the city too) pay for the UMinn stadium anyway? If the NFL and Vikes chipped in the upgrade to NFL quality, thereyago, they're there.Yeah this made no sense at all to me, as a MN taxpayer who wholeheartedly opposes paying for yet another stadium. When the SD game got moved to Arizona didnt they just give away tickets for it to fill the stadium? I assume thats what they would do.Doesnt matter none of us outside NYC/Minneapolis are going to see it anywayTicket sales and refunds is going to be a messDetroit makes the most sense.
And they won't be anywhere else? They aren't playing this game in th Metrodome.Ticket sales and refunds is going to be a messDetroit makes the most sense.
