Reading the Blogger and a headline for Reggie Bush's pursuit of the rookie RB receiving record I notice this:

#13. Reggie Bush's 86 receptions are the most by a rookie running back in NFL history. The record for all rookies is 90 (Terry Glenn, New England, 1996).

As NFL.com senior analyst shouldn't he know that Anquan Boldin had 101 catches in 2003 as a rookie? http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/395928

What Gives here?

Since he came from FSU at that time, Maybe Brandt figures 2003 wasn't really his first year getting paid to play football, so he wasn't really a rookie.

glad someone brought this up, was wondering why Boldin's numbers dont count according to a guy on NFL.com.
