Ginn being shopped (1 Viewer)

According to Jason La Canfora of NFL.com, the Dolphins are "shopping" wide receiver and kick returner Ted Ginn. Our View There have been rumors for some time now that the Dolphins would look to move Ginn this offseason, but this is the first confirmation that they are actually doing so. After Pittsburgh netted only a fifth round pick for Santanio Holmes, however, it's a curious time for the Dolphins to let their intentions be publicly known. Stay tuned. Fanball
Dez?

If Ginn has a small contract I would be pleased with the 49ers picking him up and using him as a KR/PR.
He was the 9th overall pick and his contract is as follows:Ted Ginn is slated to be a Dolphin through 2012. Here are the details:7/27/2007: Signed a five-year, $19.6 million contract. The deal includes $14 million guaranteed. 2009: $677,917, 2010: $1,035,833, 2011: $1,393,750, 2012: $1,801,667 (Voidable Year), 2013: Free Agent

I bought a fish once that I thought was salmon but it turned out to be carp. It has sat around for a few weeks and is slightly stinky. What do you think I could get for it?

Yeah,,,,about what the Fins will get for Ginn. I tried trading him last season in my dynasty and finally cut him because I couldn't get a rotten piece of carp for him.

Is it just the rights to Ginn, or would his entire family involved in the trade? If it's the latter, I'm sure that mongoloid Cam Cameron would be ecstatic to hear of the Ginn family being available.

Not to get too off topic, but BMarshall just signed his tender, meaning a trade is likely, and Dez is visiting Denver.

You beat me to it in regardsto getting the whole family. Joking asides. 2.4 million over two years (last year at 1.8 seems to be voidable) is nothing when you consider a cap (which of course we have none) at 125 million for 52 players. What they could "get" for him is another story. Not that the Jets needs another WR, but we have a guy named Vernon you may be interested in...

Ginn could actually have a role on the Bengals. They're looking for a speed guy that doesn't have to be THE guy.

I was just going to say this. I'd love to see the Niners get him as a kick returner and slot guy. I think the price in both money and trade value should be right for them to make this move.

They have been shopping him for a long time. I think I read reports like this even before last season.

Maybe the Dolphins will finally get the message about their WR corps and make a move to add a legitimate talent there. Then again, maybe they'll keep trying to fill a Larry Fitzgerald-size void with Brian Hartline and Patrick Turner.

Couple of head cases.

Brandon Marshall :lmao:

Dez Bryant :lmao:

Brandon Marshall NFL proven

Dez Bryant nope

Brandon Marshall :lmao:

I know it must be something that happened here but I don't remember hearing anything what is it about Ginn's family and Cameron

"We drafted the Ginn family,'' Cameron said. "Ted Ginn and his family will give us everything they have.''He is good friends with Ted Ginn Sr. He had recruited Jr. hard for Indiana when he was there. Unsuccessfully of course.

So...Dez unlikely at this point.
And more likely for Denver.
 IMO this is one of those times where everyone is better off now. Although I'd have liked to see Dez in Miami, he'll be fine in Denver. Miami gets their go-to WR and Denver gets more picks to fill holes as McD puts together his team. Dez and Royal make a fierce young duo - with potential to completely bust
