Ginn Jr. / Camarillo Vs Asomugha (1 Viewer)

It's pretty safe to say that Pennington will avoid throwing near Asomugha the whole game just as other QB's have all year. Am I correct in thinking that Asomugha usually lines up opposite Camarillo? I understand he might float. Ginn Jr. is the bigger play threat, where as Camarillo has been getting a lot of targets. Which one is the one to start this weekend, and which to sit?

I dont know but I am sitting Ginn for this exact reason.

The Dolphins move Camarillo around a lot, I wouldnt worry about him, he'll get his 4 or 5 catches (at least). They also run all kinds of formations, 3 wide, 4 wide, both WRs on the same side, bunching the WRs. Asomugha stays on the right, if anything Camarillo seems to line up on more on the opposite side (offense's right).

I don't really think Ginn is a safe play anyway, except for coming out and attacking the injured/thin BUF secondary, and a flea flicker that had to be perfectly floated into double coverage last week, Ginn has barely done anything this year, although he did return the opening kickoff for a TD last week, only to have it overturned by penalty.

I haven't watched much of Oakland this year, but I do remember Asomugha lined up on the right against Denver. Your thoughts actually echo my hunch, thanks for the input.

  I didn't know about this.

-guy who started Ginn in a return yardage league

P.S. I won my matchup anyways, but this would have given me the high score of the week which pays out

I have camarillo, and I think that the Miami WR corps is one week ginn one week Camarillo, so this week is camarillo.

Last week was the first time I saw Asomougha move, and he was covering Steve Smith on one play. Might have done it more, can't be sure.

If you start Camarillo or Ginn, I'd do it again. I don't see Asomougha moving to cover either one all game.

only half ginn's value is as a wr, the other half is as a kr and that's contingent on the other team scoring, which is one more reason to be worried.
