Ginn w/Henne (1 Viewer)

This may finally be the time T Ginn, Jr gets to shine. He now has a strong arm QB with the ability to stretch the field coupled with the potential KR/PR duties? Sounds like a recipe for monster games-especially in leagues that score return yards. I know he was nothing special doing returns, but the coaching staff seems likely to give him another shot. Henne can throw deep and should be able to hit Ginn deep.

I'm taking a shot. Anyone else?

I benched Brandon Marshall for him this week. There were a couple of reasons: 1. The Bills secondary is decimated and 2. Henne has a much stronger arm than Pennington. Hopefully they have developed a nice chemistry during this week's practice.

Considering 3 TD drops, its not like Ginn wasnt getting opportunities. He just needs to hold onto the ball and he'll be a good fantasy receiver.

Ginn should be able to play more towards his strength (deep speed) with Henne in the lineup, but for goodness sakes, he's gotta hold on to the ball. Yeah, some of them were tough catches, but great WRs make those catches.

Ginn was a poor fit for that offense with Captain Checkdown throwing 5-yard out patterns.

Even if it does work out, I would think it would take some time for Ginn and Henne to develop chemistry.

I wouldn't be starting him with confidence this week, but I think it does make an OK high risk/high reward play if you've got receivers like Fitz/Boldin/Jackson on a bye and need to hit a home run with your replacement.

Would Henne have helped him catch those 2 balls in the end zone in week 2? Could not have been better passes from Penny in those games.

Devone Bess is on pace for 80+ catchs for about 250 yds this year and I don't see that trend changing. bess will be a PPR guy, possible WR3 for bye weeks. Ginn is hit or miss and when he misses he leaves you with a very large hole.

I'm cautiously optimistic today, considering the Bills' decimated secondary (starting him with SSmith/RWhite on bye).

Long-term, agree that the switch to Henne plays into Ginn's strength. Now let's hope he can at least hang onto those balls.

Will Parcells/Sparano keep the passing game on a short leash? Looking at the game logs, Romo was 14 of 25 in his first start. Now, throw in the wildcat and I'm thinking the Miami passing game is mediocre at best today. I'm going with Chris Henry instead (my stubbornness knows no bounds when it comes to Henry) against the Cleveland Browns.

Ginn's only really good career game came vs the Bills last year. He caught 2 very long passes, covered by Terrence McGee, who was badly hobbled and shouldn't have even been playing. I don't think it happens again, especially with a rookie (basically) QB. I don't see Ginn in the top 30 this week.

You can't be serious. Ginn blows. Always has, always will.

If you want a WR over there, Bess is the best bet...if you actually have to look for a WR in Miami.

how bass ackwards is this?? Henne from scUM throwing to Ginn from OSU??? Oh dear me!

For fantasy purposes, Noodle Arm chad was of no good to Ginn. Henne even being from tsun, will help Ginn.

Bills fan here.... Bills safeties are out plus leodis, but Bills are deep there. it wont help, but I think Bills will be okay- remember George Wilson from Dallas MNF game 2 yrs ago. Jairius Byrd from Oregon. One of these guys will have a big day....

It's that time, time to cut him. I did that to take a flyer on edleman this week thats how little I think of him at this point. Here is what I think. He had his best game of the year whern he caught 11 balls but couldnt haul in easy td catchs. Cant imagine him having a better game of the year, so he is dead to me. If Welker comes back strong I move along to the next prospect. I have been drinking the Ginn cool-aid for 2 years now. Life is just to short to do it any longer. :hifive:
