I think it depends on the quality of players that will be available in the draft. Could you provide a list of the top 10-15 players in the draft pool? That would help determine whether or not to do this deal. I'm high on Diggs this year so I don't think it's an immediate yes or no either way. Thanks for your help with mine.

Essentially rebuilding this orphan I acquired last year.

Interesting. Given your RB situation, I'd be awfully tempted to hang on to that 1.02 and take one of McCaffrey/Fournette/Mixon.

I don't see Cooper as being that much better than Diggs.....not enough to part with one of those rookie RB's that you'll build around for years.

I think it's a fair offer and a tough one to decide on.  I agree that you need the RB help and it's very tempting to take one of the top RBs in this draft.  For a team that needs RB help, this year's draft is one of the best opportunities to fill that need in a while, if you have a top 5 pick.  On the other hand, I think there is a significant difference between Cooper and Diggs and overall I think Cooper is the best piece in this deal.  I also think you can get a RB like Perine or Kamara at 1.09 and while they aren't as good as one of the top RBs, they can still improve your team.  I also think you can get an interesting prospect at 2.09 this year such as Chad Williams or Samuel or Joe Williams or Kupp.  That's why I voted to take the deal.  You get the best player in the deal in Cooper, which improves your starting lineup, and since you can use multiple pieces to help building your team up and the 2nd round is strong this year, I think you can improve your team with the deal.

I would take the deal.  Sure you need RBs, but it is not likely that you would get Fournette.  The next 3 RBs have potential, but are not sure things.  Your team is in total rebuild, so I would take the best player in the deal...a WR that should be a top 10 WR for many years to come.

I second this, unless you're convinced that 2 out of McCaffrey/Fournett/Mixon will be studs (I'm not).  Cooper >> Diggs as long as they have Bradford/Teddy at QB, so take the better WR and the two picks.  You need multiple high-ish picks, not one uber-high pick.

I don't understand what you are trying to do with your team at all. You just about gave away AJ Green(Prescott is nice, but you had no QB need with Stafford on board) you probably overpaid for Henry, I'd rather have Hyde straight up, adding the 1.11(which was a big piece of the Green deal) made no sense. Then you dealt a similar pick of 2.3 for Jordan Matthews who isn't worth anywhere near that. I get that you are trying to rebuild, and I apologize if I'm being too harsh, but I just really don't get your short or long term plan.

All that said, this current offer is a great deal for you. Cooper is worth more than the 1.2 and Diggs by himself, so getting 1.9 and 2.9 thrown in is a hell of a caveat.

I would stand pat although the offer is fair I think you might be able to do better than that for the 2nd overall pick.

I love Cooper and he is clearly better than Diggs, but how much better really? I don't think this difference is enough to give up the 2nd overall pick in this draft where you could be drafting any of the top 4 RB (if Corey Davis is selected with the 1.01) or draft Davis who I think is a prospect with similar upside to Cooper himself.

Knowing what other picks you might have would help a bit as far as understanding what your other options are.

I think you have some quality WR already. You have more need for a RB and TE than a WR (although adding more WR is always a good idea)

This is a great draft to add a TE and if you did the deal, perhaps that would be your target with the 1.09 pick.

You are still building the depth of your roster and deals you have made seem focused on getting younger talent with that goal in mind. The 2.09 pick could be a nice prospect and you have room to carry an extra player. So the deal could certainly work out for you and Cooper is a top player. I am not against you taking the deal, I just think you could possibly do better than this moving the 2nd overall pick.

I accepted the trade. Wanted to note: this is a team I'm experimenting with. It's a MFL Masters Bronze division team and I could see I wasn't going anywhere soon. I love Green and have him in a higher stakes 14 team league that I won last year (Brandon LaFelle is the GOAT). I have him ranked higher than most but I wanted to rebuild with this team. It's very possible he lasts well into his 30s but I like the youth on this team now and I'll take Cooper, the 2 rookies (Njoku and Godwin) and like it.

I disagree about Mathews who is still young and has been very productive. I get he was miscast but he could easily end up a WR2 in the long run.. so could a few of the rookies in that range but they all come with questions (I drafted Godwin in that range who I love, but I'm essentially burning a roster spot for 2 to 3 years while I wait for him to have an opportunity. There is no TS in this league)

I also like Hyde but prefer Henry's long term upside in that offense and the way they're building around a strong running game. If Hyde lands with the Colts next year then I may have regrets..

This league is for fun and experimentation, there are plenty of leagues I'm in where I am very competitive.

Thanks for your comments!
