A classic...in its genre. Often imitated but never duplicated. The scene about Ballbricker identifying the wang is hilarious.Porky's

Love them in small doses. But I should say I haven't heard all of their stuff. Really dig Chips Ahoy until the get to the "whoa uh OOOOOO uh OOOOO parts"The Hold Steady
radio show.TV show? The Jim Rome Show
No clue who/what that is.As long as we're going down the OPM R&B ####, how about Lucy Pearl's "Dance Tonight?"
Haven't had it in probably 15 years but it was my "go to" place in the mall food court when I had little kids.Sbarro Pizza
Pure crap. Won't even watch it for the nostalgia factor.Top Gun (the movie, not the book)
I actually don't think I've ever partooken in the USS&B option. But I will say that I believe Olive Garden is unfairly maligned most of the time. If you go in there knowing what to expect and you're not some food snob jagoff there is nothing wrong with OG.Also Olive Garden's unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks.
I have to admit that I've never seen it. I feel bad about that because I have black friends.Hoop Dreams
Following directions down, goon?radio show.TV show? The Jim Rome Show
You're dead to me imoNot terrible for their time period (short window like around 1991) but can't stand the test of time.Pearl Jam
Over all rating? Should have died out about a year after "Ten". Slogging, overwrought, depressing, and heavy handed. I get why high schoolers and moody flannel wearers dig them but let it go.
Ug. I'm pretty much the same age as those characters so I'll assume that I'm supposed to like BC. It's actually pretty piss-poor. Too many cliches and basically 35 year old John Hughes pretending to know how HS kids talked. The Breakfast Club
I dig some of their stuff up until and including Moving Pictures. But not all of it.Rush
I'd rather watch a 6 hour loop of Kevin James giving his dog a Cleveland Steamer than 2 minutes of BBT.The Big Bang Theory
What is this? 2012?I realize it's not a TV show, movie, song or band, but I was wondering if you could make an exception for garfieldminusgarfield.net. It is easily consumable if you have not seen it before.
Thank you.
Gwar is a joke, right? Like Spinal Tap and candied onions that look like candied apples.Gwar
Band of Brothers
Shakes the Clown
Don't know enough about them to say anything.Explosions in the Sky (band)
Thought it was pretty great. Eye-opening and scary.Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief
I haven't heard a ton of their stuff but I have Synthetica and Fantasies on my Spotify playlist. Pretty solid for sure.Metric (band)
Lost in Translation was pretty awesome. Not the most exciting movie but very well written, directed, and acted.Movie: Lost in Translation
TV: Eastbound and Down
Song: "American Pie"
Band: Coldplay
I know I should like them. I fit their target audience and demographic. I also like many of the bands that grouped with Radiohead (alternative, quirky, etc). But I just can't get into them. Not really sure why.Radiohead

I will say that "Creep", even though the band and hardcore fans treat it like an ugly stepchild, is one of the best songs to come out of the early 90s.
Never seen it. But some how I did stumble across a youtube video one of the guys made about the items he took with him. Pretty interesting.JaxBill said:Alone (TV show)
You liked it, right?Out now...until tomorrow AM. Going to watch "Straight Out of Compton"
Other than being able to stomach more of BBT than you, we agree on everything.Officer Pete Malloy said:I'd rather watch a 6 hour loop of Kevin James giving his dog a Cleveland Steamer than 2 minutes of BBT.hagmania said:The Big Bang Theory

I really like these three films especially Red. I hope you check them outOfficer Pete Malloy said:Sorry, I have not seen any of them.Jules Winnfield said:What about my post of the Red, White, and Blue?
These were the Three Colors films by Krzysztof Kieślowski
I hate to admit that I haven't heard as much by them as I should considering they were pioneers. The songs I do know by them are good and more importantly very good considering the time period.Band: Television
Great show. Benedirk Cumberbum nails it. Yet somehow I have not seen all of the latest season.TV Show: Sherlock
You shouldn't ask about this movie. My mother asked about this movie once...ONCEMovies
