Give Me a Movie/TV Show/Song/Band and I Will Review (1 Viewer)

As long as we're going down the OPM R&B ####, how about Lucy Pearl's "Dance Tonight?"
No clue who/what that is.

Sbarro Pizza
Haven't had it in probably 15 years but it was my "go to" place in the mall food court when I had little kids.

Top Gun (the movie, not the book)
Pure crap. Won't even watch it for the nostalgia factor.

Also Olive Garden's unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks.
I actually don't think I've ever partooken in the USS&B option. But I will say that I believe Olive Garden is unfairly maligned most of the time. If you go in there knowing what to expect and you're not some food snob jagoff there is nothing wrong with OG.

Hoop Dreams
I have to admit that I've never seen it. I feel bad about that because I have black friends.

I realize it's not a TV show, movie, song or band, but I was wondering if you could make an exception for garfieldminusgarfield.net. It is easily consumable if you have not seen it before.

Thank you.

Movie: Lost in Translation

TV: Eastbound and Down

Song: "American Pie"

Band: Coldplay
Lost in Translation was pretty awesome. Not the most exciting movie but very well written, directed, and acted.

Easbound: I loved the first couple of seasons but then it just sort of lost steam for me. I think the characters had run their course(s) especially Kenny Powers.

American Pie: Too long, overplayed, and overrated.

Coldplay: Maybe not as horrible as a lot of people like to claim but mediocre for sure. I gave them a fair shot back about 2001 but was not impressed.

Radiohead
I know I should like them. I fit their target audience and demographic. I also like many of the bands that grouped with Radiohead (alternative, quirky, etc). But I just can't get into them. Not really sure why.

I will say that "Creep", even though the band and hardcore fans treat it like an ugly stepchild, is one of the best songs to come out of the early 90s.

The Big Bang Theory
I'd rather watch a 6 hour loop of Kevin James giving his dog a Cleveland Steamer than 2 minutes of BBT.
Other than being able to stomach more of BBT than you, we agree on everything.

M. Night Shyamalan movies
The ones I've seen:

Sixth Sense: Very good. Doesn't matter if you know the spoiler or not.

Unbreakable: This movie pissed me off. I loved the premise: a movie about a superhero but "realistic". Then somehow everything just fell flat. Kudos for using Pixies in the soundtrack though.

Signs, The Village, Lady in the Water, The Happening: Garbage x 4.

I would like to direct this to the distinguished members of the panel who asked about Johnny Dangerously:

You lousy cork-soakers. You have violated my farging rights. Dis somanumbatching country was founded so that the liberties of common patriotic citizens like me could not be taken away by a bunch of fargin iceholes... like yourselves.

This movie is 31 years old and I admit that if it came on the tele today, I would watch it and enjoy it
