Does the impending signing of Kerry Collins in Tennessee increase the value of Bennett/Givens? Which one should see more looks?

I don't think Collins is > Volek, so I wouldn't adjust my rankings much at all..

But I guess I'm in the minority on that one..

He won't sign with anyone unless he starts.. so yeah. They will probably have to pony up quite a penny to sign him to. I doubt that would be so he can call plays to Volek on the sideline.

do the Titans have the cap space to give him a decent sized contract?

it's also a little late for him to come in and take over the starting job right away.

seems like a strange signing unless he's come down considerably in his contract demands from the last time they were rumored to sign him. this team is not going to win many games this year regardless of who is at QB.

If the Titans sign Collins with the intent of making him the starter I'd drop both Givens and Bennett a little in my rankings. Volek is a better fantasy option I believe than Collins. It's a little late to be signing a guy you want to make your starting QB,I think the concern is with their #2 QB more than their #1. Collins had said he wouldn't sign unless he started,but this late I think he takes whatever he can get.

A couple years ago when Bennett had crazy numbers the second half, wasn't it when Volek was starting because of McNair injury? If I remember correctly, Volek locked in on Bennett often.

Anyone else like Bennett's value with Volek as the full time starter now or do you think it was an abberration?
