Anyone have any info on this Glenn Martinez guy? With Javon out a few more weeks atleast, will he be someone to look into? He was only behind Marshall in catches and yards in their last game, stat line was a solid 6 for 70(compared to Marshalls 7 for 72). Anyone have any info on this guy? Potential ppr pickup?

Edit to add: According to this yahoo link he only had 6 targets, so he caught all his targets, and Stokley isnt listed so Im guessing that means he got less than 4 targets? Just somethin else to look at.

He and Ruvell Martin formed a real nice duo at that Saginaw Valley State.

Very similar to Ruvell in that ya hear good feedback from coaches in preseason and practice but for whatever reason it doesn't translate into too much playing time. While I love the Chrebet and Welker like stories, more often than not teams "invest" time/experience in "thoroughbreds" at skill positions and those two are not.

I do think given the chance those two would get it done (Ruvell's 100 yard game last year) but they're not elite talents.

Troy Brown and several other players took a long time to develop (as a WR)because of this so they're still intriguing. Jones(draft) and Jennings(draft) and Koren (FA) knock Ruvell too far down the list. Opportunity for him is fading fast unless he went to another team. Martinez doesn't have that. Walker's been hurt a bunch this year. They have Marshall and....Martinez has an opportunity here.

I'm curious about this guy too. The situation this week appears to be similar to week 5....but, FBG projects him for 0 this weekend, and only 17 points for the balance of the season. Was week 5 a complete anomaly?
