I know, I know....... I rarely go there, but I needed some stuff I couldn't get anywhere else close and didn't feel like driving another 32 minutes (first world problems; "another 32 minutes" might be a good band name, too).That ####### place was PACKED. The hillbillies are out in numbers this morning, brothers and sisters.
Krista, I saw Julio post something on facebook a few days ago about his job. What's he doing for work these days? If he's not a RE agent or a bartender, he's missing his true calling.

He's doing tours as usual, but I just found out yesterday that it looks like he's going to get a new property management job, too.

I don't have to tell you, but he made my stay in Granada 100 times better than it would have been without him. I think he got a little frustrated with me because I didn't want to do a lot (that was a really dark time for me), but he dragged my ### out a few times anyway. I'll remember the Isle Of Monkeys and the churches until I die, but having dinner with his family was the highlight of my trip.

Tarintino's Hateful Eight is over at thedaretube.com/tv/. If you want to watch it
you need a popup blocker and mute the audio in the right column. It's pretty
good but long(2:48). I'm not going to see it in the theater. The outdoor scenery
is probably big screen worthy but their is not enough of it and I'm cheap.
The Point Break remake is there too-I started watching that then quit. The lead
character and bad guys wasn't holding my interest. I didn't post this on the board
because it would probably get it (the Eight) wiped out.

Thanks for asking. I have fallen off the wagon twice since posting about that. Had 4-5 large Jack & Diet Cokes (about 3 shots each) both times. My side was hurting constantly from the fatty liver and it has backed off considerably with cutting out the drinking (except those times) so that is good.How is the fatty liveritis? I haven't started walking, exercising, lifting yet though.
Just for clarification - I didn't slug Yager on a regular basis, just special every once in a while. Some people hate the taste - I love that Vicks Formula 44 taste.
And all is great and then bam, hit in the side of the head with a shovel.

Good to hear you're at least feeling better. Hopefully you're finding a happy medium and don't have to be full blown sober.
For my 21st birthday, we hit about 10-12 bars in Chicago. It seemed like each bar we walked into had $1 shots of Yager and I couldn't even guess how many shots of the stuff I had.
Towards the end of the night, another shot ended up in front of me. Assumption was that it was just another Yager shot and that assumption was wrong.
Totally unprepared for the taste of Wild Turkey, I darted out of the bar and yacked all over a Chicago Tribune vending box.
I'm 45 now ans have probably forced down maybe a handful of Yager shots since then. I even smell it and I immediately flash back to that night.
