Cal cleaned out his backpack today for school and handed me a certificate he received last year for being "most honest".  That means both my boys received this same award last year. I hope to God that they give this to every kid or we're in more trouble than I thought.

 
I was  about to call it an evening then Mrs. SLB just started screaming at the boys for ####### off and not sleeping.  Might be here ah-while.

Pretty much it, GB.  I would make them pay for insolence and wake them up early tomorrow but it's supposed to be raining and might sleep in myself.

 
One week of freedom from the shackles and chains I call a family.  One glorious week.  Dropped them all off at the harrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrport at 5:30am.  Did I go straight into work like a good employee?  The hell I did.  Went straight to McDonalds, got TWO of their breakfast sandwiches, tried to figure out how to work the smart TV at home so I could watch porn in giant TV glory, gave up that perplexing boondoggle and used my phone like some sort of filthy animal and then walked to the office like Sacamano does every day.  Bar trivia tonight after a happy hour at BW3.  Also on tap this week, Top Golf opens up and I just happen to know two of the smoking hot bartenders.

We have a family vacation at the end of the month.  I thought about coming home early because "I wasn't sure if I could get enough time off" at the new job but it ended up working out that I can go the whole time

After GM's post I'm kinda regretting it, although I'm sure all I would have done on those days is jerked it twice and get drunk and play on my phone and I can pretty much do all of that up there

If by 'that' you mean the thunderous noise of tyrant twins who like to make the types of noises that can both shatter glass and cause AC/DC levels of deafness, then yes, there probably there right now.  Enjoy them.  Don't send them back here.

You might recall we bought in February 2014 and sold in November 2014.  Despite only owning for nine months, our sale price was over 10% more than our purchase price.

Out of curiosity, I (regrettably) looked today to see what the Zillow estimate is on the place.  In the 21 months since we sold, it is up another 32%. :shock:   I know Zillow can be off, so I looked at some of the recent comps Zillow showed, and that price is clearly legit.

Not saying I wish we'd waited, but...sheesh.

Way too late for that, from what I've seen when there.  Then again, I would have said the same about parts of Seattle, and clearly I was wrong.  Hopefully this will flow out into the sticks where I am now, not that I intend to sell anytime soon (which I know is shocking).

That will have no effect.  The Chinese use Vancouver to launder their money. Most of the buyers are multi millionaires at a minimum.
