Mine is roached too along with my knee.  Getting out of bed is difficult at times. I'm taking an extra long walk tomorrow though. I figure I blow the thing out and get a couple of months off work or wolves eat me.  Either way, win-win.

My Goddaughter showed up with a boyfriend on Christmas.  She's a senior in HS. Good kid, scholarship to play soccer in college. Hard to believe, really,  She introduces me to the guy, pretty big dude, 6'1 I guess, I ask him if he knows that I'm her Godfather. He nervously nods his head yes while saying "Yes, I know who you are sir". I glance over at my GD and she has the biggest, laughing, smile on her face. Her BF looked terrified. Pretty much the best thing about Christmas this year.

Exactly. This thing is either going to get better or I'm going to blow it all the way out and get a break.

Orangetheory Fitness this morning was probably a bad idea.

Yeah..did that already this year.  Torn calf muscle might be one of the most painful things I have experienced to date.

How do you know if someone runs half marathons?  Don't worry, they'll tell you.

[Note: may also substitute "runs half marathons" with "runs marathons", "does crossfit", "is paleo", "is gluten free", or "is vegan".]

Eh, I didn't find that to be especially true.  Some talk about what a waste of money weddings are and bemoaning consumerism, but I wouldn't call anything in there overly "preachy."

Couple guys seem to just be complete dlcks...condescending, arrogant, have to be the cool kid.  Ignore, emmereffer.

 
GM, went skiing today with bil. No kids. They got 2ft of actual powder up there the last 2 days and it was epic. Jumped off a 10ft cliff, skied damn near vertical slopes, skied the trees just tons of fluffy snow. Best part was no crazy ####er tried to sideswipe us at 75 mph on the way home.
