He was a goofy, fun-loving kid. Tall and lanky, athletically gifted. His dad took a teaching job in Tokyo when he was in grade school so the family lived in Japan for like 4-5 years and when they came back, Chase was really into sports (jock) and I wasn't so we really weren't close after he returned (cause kids are dumb and let their defined peer group determine who they should be friends with). 

 
The wife just left for training for her new job (managing a place that rhymes with Schmed Schmobbin).  She'll be there for 8 weeks.  Good news it is only to hours away so she'll be able to come back home/I'll be able to visit her a few times.

I went to the gym twice around christmas, so when I go back this week you cant call me one of those resolutions people.

Pretty much why I don't go. Don't like being judged as the fat guy who doesn't know what he's doing.

#### those people. They mean nothing to your life. In fact, I hope it bothers them that the fat guy is in there. Once more, with feeling:  #### those people.

Also, and you probably know this already, but you don't lose weight in the gym, you lose it in the kitchen.
