Picked up six lbs. of Wagyu tenderloin at Central Market this evening. Granted, it was the "tail" end of the tenderloin, but was only $15/lb. May go buy more tomorrow.

Could one of you fancy city-folk explain to me the advantage of using a ZipCar over just renting a car?  (I've read the website that claims things like "no long lines!" and other non-convincing arguments.)  Serious, not snarky, request - I need to know.

Got the staples out of my head today.

He went in through the same place the last guy did, so I figured the scar would be similar. Not so. I now have a huge divot in my head. It's a good thing I gave up on being pretty a long time ago.
Speaking of misshapen heads, isn't Baby #2 due on Monday?  How are things going?

If you're traveling, I have no idea.

Useful part of the transportation mix for those that are public transportation users though. Or for one car families. When we move our corporate office next year, I'm hoping to take the train to work and then use one of those cars when I have meetings downtown.

I meant for commuting/substitute for public transport, so you're on target.  Or one-time trips to the mountains, for instance.  But why is it better than a rental in those situations?  In looking at the pricing, it's doesn't seem generally favorable.

In Austin, they have preferred, free street parking spaces. It's as easy as grabbing one across the street from our office, driving it downtown and then dropping it in a free parking space when I get there.

Aha, thanks.  That's very cool.

These Seahawks are up to something.

These plays - from all the one-handed grabs by Richardson to that one where Baldwin stole the touchdown - are hilarious.

My tenant wants to extend until through mid Feb. He's been paying exorbitant rent, so I'm going to let him do it. That puts the kibosh on my beach house for coshole doo for the SB. There's been not a lot of commitments. I think Uruk is the only solid  from out of the area and talking to him, I think he's 70/30 at best. I'd still like ot do something. COuld do it at my house in Austin or could probably find a different big beach house in Galveston. Or we could push it back to the last half of Feb. That's Mardi Gras and that's a big deal on the island.

Just got tickets to the WBC championship in LA. I'm also going to get tickets at Petco for the second round playoffs the weekend before the finals. So I'll be in SD, then LA  aprox 3/16 to 3/22, if anyone wants to watch baseball and/or have cocktails.

If the Packers make the Super Bowl, I would have bailed on you guys anyway. Not that it's particularly likely. But with the date changed, will make every effort for Coshole II: The Cosling.

If you guys don't mind, I'm going to take a moment and revel in the fact that....

Shuffle your media player, Righetti's an embarrassment at weddings and the Yandek archives

.....have all been bumped in the last couple of hours

Fixed that for you
I also forgot to mention the Rawls run where he practically ran in place for five seconds waiting for Russell Wilson to block for him.  And later that catch Baldwin made with his butt.  That was just a fun game.

Let's* do this thing!

*my wife
I first read this as asking people to do your wife. And I was like "That's messed up and gross, she's like 9 months pregn.......Ohhhhhhh."

Good luck to Mrs. Ninja and Amateur Ninja!

Cheaper, if not using car for full day

Monday indeed.

My wife hates everything in the entire world except our kid and me roughly half the time, but I've recovered enough to not be totally terrified of a new baby, which is really fortunate and kinda lucky. Really looking forward to having the kid out instead of making my wife miserable 100% of the time.
The kid being out doesnt help.

Yeah, once they come out the misery stops.
