Yeah, I recall that those are actually pretty good. 

I have always thought the regular Panera food (sandwiches, soups, salads) was pretty irredeemable though.

Not for me. It's real food. Not processed ####. Their soups and salads and decent. I like the Thai Chicken Salad. I like their paninis too. 

It's just regular cafe food with fresh ingredients. Way more variety than chipotle or noodles or a sub shop.

Panera microwaves their soup in giant plastic bags that they come in. All their pastas too. Their meats come in big bulk packages too. 

Their salads are pretty much the only thing that really are fresh in any sense.

My personal pet peeve is when we are "ready" to go, but my wife gets into the car with a department store makeup counter's worth of stuff, then gives me the stink eye every time I have to use the brakes or turn the wheel.

I like when I tell her I'm going to run to the hardware store and maybe Walmart. She asks to go and then after we're on the road, "Oh can we stop at blah blah blah, I'll just be a minute. Drives me flippin crazy.

Okay.  I tried them two ways. First I ate a non-toasted.  It was decent, but I dislike chewy bagels. 

Then I used the toaster oven in the office, with the cinnamon stuff facing up so it didn't fall off. 

Toasted was awesome. Highly recommend toasted.
