The metal scrappers must have drones all over or something.  Replaced our dryer last year, hauled it to the curb with my dad, went back inside and looked out the window and a guy had already pulled up with a van, opened the side door and pushed the dryer in.   I live on a street that is only a block long, has a T intersection at one end and a school at the other so there is no reason to drive down my street.    Same thing happened when I redid the bathroom, took 10 minutes and an older guy was trying to lift the bathtub into the back of a pickup.  Watched him struggle for a few minutes then went to help him.

we live on a busier street so nothing really sits long but... metal, copper, anything remotely valuable will be gone in minutes.

better than the night at 'Hacks when I took a cab with Rudnicki, barfed in it and left my mobile in the backseat. It was an awkward morning conversation shared between the driver and I the next day.

Well, the Eagles (band, not football team) can't stand each other; I don't know how much soaring you're going to do with them.

Got drunk last night and posted in the Trump thread. I may be a little lucky to still be posting here. Also, stayed up until 1:30 watching Machete Kills. Overall, not my best effort. It's a good day to be working from home.  :hangover:

 
either you can't hold it all in or it will kill you.. or you're a #### for venting and not holding it in.

one of my best friends dropped out of HS in the 80s and moved into a clubbing/underground/squatters life in SF. she watched a lot of friends die from aids- and there were a bunch that contracted hiv by sharing needles or having unprotected sex. she said it was a leitmotif among them that they had hit absolute self-immolating bottom before deciding to inject the used needle or insert the unbagged penis. they new they weren't just tempting fate- they were knowingly inviting it open-armed. 

that's what the thought of going into the trump threads reminds me of.
