No, I haven't left Mr krista for someone more exciting; I'm talking about my stepmother.

Alamo is obvious. Spurs b-ball game, Riverwalk, lots of great restaurants all over town, zoo, sea world, six flags, art museum, drive through Hill country or head to Port Aransas

I don't know a ton about San Antonio. I have a friend that lives there and was briefly through for a weekend for his wedding. Tons and tons of strip malls.krista4 said:Any of you Texas types (or others) have ideas of what I can do in San Antonio in mid-November with a 72-year-old Christian teetotaler?

For all the accoutrements you have, maybe should have gone for a strip or a ribeyeRC94 said:I am going to make a steak sandwich for dinner tonight. I bought flank steak, which I will season with kosher salt, pepper and a little onion powder and a little garlic powder and will cook it medium rare. I got some fresh bread from the bakery and will make garlic bread and some shallots, which I will either fry or caramelize. Slice the steak and put it on the garlic bread along with fried shallots. I am also thinking about making shallot and bacon gravy to put on there too, but I got a roast beef sandwich the other day from a great deli a few blocks away and still have some of the gravy in a container so I think I will use that tonight since it's much easier. I think I just drooled on my keyboard...
Hmm, maybe if I got them for my dogs, they'd stop pooping in my office when it's raining and they are too big a ####### to use the doggy door and go outsideScottNorwood said:My wife asked if we should get the dog a raincoat. I married this woman...
It was great. Just finished. For all the accoutrements you have, maybe should have gone for a strip or a ribeye
My dogs loved to play with the towel I would use to dry them off when we got home and it was raining. It can be fun for the dogs and you don't waste money on those things. Also, no, dogs don't need a raincoat.ScottNorwood said:My wife asked if we should get the dog a raincoat. I married this woman...

It's just water. They will be fine if they get wet. So will you, especially if you know where your towel is. If you want to survive out there, you've got to know where your towel is.Because they use umbrellas?
Unless you get to see the basement, of course.I was told the Alamo is more of a tourist trap than anything and disappointing.
Especially after Earth is destroyed to make way for a hyperspace bypass. It's just water. They will be fine if they get wet. So will you, especially if you know where your towel is. If you want to survive out there, you've got to know where your towel is.
I honestly think that getting them high top sneakers would be of greater value.ScottNorwood said:My wife asked if we should get the dog a raincoat. I married this woman...

my dog hates getting wet, so use a raincoat sometimes. It's pretty ridiculous.ScottNorwood said:My wife asked if we should get the dog a raincoat. I married this woman...
Same with my dog. She jumps over puddles and forces us out in the street when sprinklers are going.my dog hates getting wet, so use a raincoat sometimes. It's pretty ridiculous.
Still no raincoat.
