Now officially bored out of my teats. Wife went to bed due to a cold and the fact that she keeps hours like an Amish dairy farmer. Walked to the store with the intention of buying some "good" beer and maybe a couple of cheap cigars. Forgot the smokes but made it home with a couple of Fat Tires.

Sounds like poor planning. I'm #### tootered and trying to hang on for 10 more minutes to make 2012. Also hoping Angrybaby decides to sleep through the night.

Well we agreed that the X concert on Wed night was our de facto NYE. We had planned on just hanging out tonight. One kid is working the other was supposed to go to a party but then we found out it was in a crappy part of town and unchaperoned so we nixed that idea. We thought we'd have the house to ourselves but no such luck. The good news is that I have the next 9 days off. Plenty of time to boogie down as the kid's say these days.

Made it to the bar at 11:45! Fastest sales reconciliation ever? Yes...yes it was. Have had 5 shots of Jamo since. Kinda sober and yet I can feel hammered creeping up. Happy New Year!

Happy new years to all. Survived the nihtout after almost 12 hours of drinking. Turned a friend into a best friend and met a really cool chick with a boyfriend age needs to drop. Here's to everyone having an amazing 2012!!! :banned: :banned: :banned: :banned:

 
Saints-man kinda makes me wonder what my iLegacy will be. It will never be at the level of SM or Shiny or even Afro Samuri. This entire thread is chock full of people that are smarter than me. The rest of the FFA is the same way. Without getting too serious....it made me think :shrug:

Not only did I book a 7:40 a.m. flight on New Year's Day, but I got to the airport nice and early, flight running on time until 10 minutes before departure, when they canceled it. So now instead of being happily back in bed by 8:30, I have to go to Atlanta and hope my 12:45 flight gets out of there. :rant:

2012 can kindly blow me so far.

I forgot about Afro Samurai. I'm almost positive that he was from New Orleans (or close) as well. Can anyone confirm or deny this? If it's true, that's 3 "prominent" guys from the FFA from here that have passed. :unsure:

I'm a tad freaked out now. Through some searches, I know he lived in Shreveport was a Saints and LSU fan, and had some tie to New Orleans.

TF, it's going to be me and my BIL coming down alone. 90% sure we're staying at the Westin. I doubt we're going to trek out to Tipsy's since it's just us, so we'll probably be leaving Birmingham late in the afternoon on Saturday, hitting Harrah's all night, and sleeping the afternoon away on Sunday.

What's the situation on watching the game outside the stadium? They're advertising something about watching the game at Champion's Square on Biloxi related hotel/shuttle advertisements. Either that or a bar.

Oh, I'm seeing tons of people offering to buy tickets at $700-800 a seat. I don't think they're going to get much lower than that unless you know someone. I wish I would've bought the ones I saw in the LSU section this past week. Prices are coming back down a bit over the weekend though. Maybe sellers will get desperate in the next couple of days.
