It's pretty eerie with the whole neighborhood dark. And I just watched that national geographic show American blackout. I'd be pretty ####ed if I had a blackout that lasted days/weeks.

My Dad busted his nut bad trying to move something too heavy. I've never seen him in this much pain. Dang.

There was rezoning done on the land behind my house. None of the trees will be touched and the land behind it will stay the same. I can't tell you how happy I am about this. Plus there will be three bar (probably chain crappy) restaurants put in within a 10 minute walking distance of my house. Pretty happy all around.

My former biggest client's lawyer sees things the same as mine. We're in the right here. As of Friday I was told they will either run out the next two years of the contract or pay us off. We'll see.

There's a pretty significant open amount that can be rented out. I hope somebody opens a place there.

I also plan to write a letter to the owners thanking them for reconsidering. Not sure how much impact I had on it but I did lobby for a compromise and that is how it worked out. I plan on filling it with a lot of USA, kids these days, and video games.

That one was a real crapper.

I spent all afternoon shotgunning beer with twentysomethings. Angrywife was pretty pissed when I couldn't string together a complete sentence at dinner tonight.

 
I have been awake since 4am and my house is full of people that are boring and the kind of booze I don't drink. Thinking of faking a migraine so I can go to bed.

 
Wanna hear something funny? When that Manziel #### went down in the off-season, I snap-bet on A&M's win total, under. Only I didn't bet A&M, I bet the under on University of Texas.

A small part of me knows I have done a ton in life to deserve this but the bigger part of me knows that "oof" I can't provide for my son.

Hernia. Ball feels like it could explode. My Dad doesn't complain about ####. This is the same guy that wanted to walk out of the room the second day after having his hip replaced a couple of years ago. That's why it's troubling.

Hey people that want me in Minneapolis next weekend. I appreciate the thought. But I cannot afford it.

Some of us can't move to a 3rd world country. Some of us live paycheck to paycheck. Some of us have to live with the fact that we look like Timothy Hutton. What it all boils down to is that I am poor and cannot go to MInneapolis for the game. I hope "poor" is good enough
