I haven't seen the renovated rooms personally, but from the pictures I've seen, you should be pleasantly surprised.Wife and I are going in 3 weeks. Staying at The D (The Fitz). Haven't stayed there since the change over. Looks slightly improved.
The second floor has been branded "Vintage Vegas," making perfect for old coots like you and me. There is good video poker up there, and Sigma Derby, the mechanical horse-racing game that is a blast with a large, drunken group. Bob>end of September, you say?
LolThis is a sentence where the absence of a comma was very important.Maybe I'll just sell meth and blow. You could be a truck stop hooker.
Still listening to Jason Isbell while power-writing some blogs. Kid will be here in about 16 hours.

How did it go?this is getting a lot of local coverage, including one local channel live streaming the debate. I may tune is just to watch for the train wreck factor![]()

Time to rile up the fanboys! (homer>hi)The "Fly" episode? Really?
You don't deserve to watch this show anymore. The "Fly" episode? Really?
Abe was wrong.Abe thought you would like itThe "Fly" episode? Really?
Just doesn't work for me in the context of this show. I might like it if I were going to see a movie that was a simple character study with two characters, or even better it could work as a play, but it has totally killed the momentum of the show for me.The one people love to hate. The "Fly" episode? Really?
Way ahead of you, GB.Time to rile up the fanboys! (homer>hi)The "Fly" episode? Really?

It was ok. Pretty intense moments leading up to the thing that almost happened but it was a long slog to get there.I liked "The Fly"
So did I. That said, I thought that K4 would like it as well since she found some of the other, actiony sequences to be predictable in S1 and S2 (IIRC). The Fly is an outlier in the show for a zillion reasons but for people drawn to the two main characters, it really is excellent to see them like that. Anyway, we move on...I liked "The Fly"
Euphemism? Or actual fatherhood-stuff?I just spent about 40 minutes spinning my boys on one of those sit and spin things.
I guess I shouldn't say I didn't like it. As mentioned in another context I would, and you weren't wrong in thinking that it appeals more to me than the actiony parts. But I had come to accept and even enjoy that the show was about the actiony parts, so then this really stopped me cold.So did I. I should withhold judgment until I see it in full context. Moving on to the next...fly sucked as an episode but in the full context of the series it's a lot better.
Has anyone heard from Cos? I sent him a text on Saturday to see if he was OK and haven't heard back. Usually he replies at 4am asking "Are you awake? Time for a quick chat on the phone?" but nothing this time around.
As a result, I will use Bob as my text-message conduit to the JTanners during Operation Kidbirth tomorrow.

Lost it all in 7 straight hands (they let me play the last one for only $10 since it was all I had left).
0 and 7. first time that ever happened to me. after that, I was gunshy to gamble much.
I don't play anymore.

Kid can play. Not going to lie - the mocks where he slips to 8 or 9 are fun in a "how did Paul Pierce slide to 10?" kind of way. None of my neighbors have pools. I lived out west so Vegas was much closer then it is now. We usually stay in Vegas at the beginning or end of a National Park tour. See shows, eat good food, and people watch.
