GM's thread about nothing (55 Viewers)

my best friend, who is also the father of my daughter's best friend, moved out of his house today after marriage counseling failed.

my girlfriend also broke up with me this morning. I know that's happened before, but this one is the end. you won't hear about her anymore. I'm glad it happened.

what a strange day. I had to meet my frirend's (soon to be ex) wife at the dock, since I had her kid today. We talked for a while about making sure the kids all could stay friends.

Told him how weird it was, since we've all been friends for years. He told me that she's always hated me.
Ouch. Hate when that happens. What a #####.

Sorry, but the twist ending was great.

:goodposting: Sorry Fish. :(

It seems like there are a lot of details missing from the Seattle cornhole story. We need more.

Bob - sorry to read about Cal's night. That seems insane.
I think details would be boring--nothing crazy happened. It was like hanging out with good friends I'd known a while. Great folks; great time. I believe Mr. krista promised to cook a 12-course meal for everyone when it gets warm(er) out.
It was a bunch of married people hanging out, there were designated drivers and lots of responsibility. Not much that makes for good stories. But I had a blast, everyone was interesting, and it's always a success when you hang out with friends from the internet and nobody keeps talking about things from the internet.

The guy in the back giving the double thumbs up is A-a ron Paul. Paul played Jessie Pinkman on the television show "Breaking Bad". Television is an electronic media that broadcasts moving images in to people's homes fro their entertainment.
Woah that IS cool. You mean like talking pictures?

Has anyone heard from Bill since his vacation? :oldunsure:
He Facebooked about it today, I think.

We got back late Saturday night and I was pretty much a vegetable yesterday. I fried myself, causing a bunch of nasty red bumps on my legs and arms.

Mata: "Put some ### ####ed sun block on"

Me: "But I'm in the shade"

Mata: "Not when you're swimming"

Me: "Don't worry - I got this"

Two days later.....

Me: :hot:

We had a blast, though.

I'm sure there's a Grateful Dead concert you old ######s can go cornhole at.

Arcade Fire was great. Stu and Buck.
:banned:

I really enjoyed the chance to hang out with GBs Uni and Stu (and their wonderful SOs  ). Genuinely good dudes. My wife and I actually ran into Uni the next day in Lockhart while we were shopping for my wife's bday and enjoying some small town Texas bbq. Uni tried to help me (unsuccessfully) fit a piece of antique furniture into my wife's vehicle (not a euphemism). I was pretty embarrassed about the whole thing but appreciated the assist.

I for am shocked that some FFAers scoffed at other FFAers choice of music/concerts.

They left. My wife is currently lying on the floor of our bedroom naked refusing to put on clothes. Not the good kind.
good lord
Now that is the definition of good friends.
No updates? Sorry for the confusion on my comment. My comment was intended to communicate what good friends you have to get your wife that hammered - in a good way.
Yes, they are good friends. No exciting updates, sorry.
Except for Tre I mean. That guy sucks.
:goodposting:

I got three glasses of wine in them during our "alone time" the bar.

GoT fans are a touchy lot.
Those are the tv fans, and yes.
Book fans are pretty bad too.
Yes, but we have Flysack getting all "literature-y" on us in there!
Oof
I like when the book dopes wade into the non-book thread and "accidentally" spoil major plot points.

Brawn
Like Arya killing Tyrion

Yeah, not a fan of that when Mrs. GM is around.
