If you have a cool wife who doesn't mind, it's the closest thing to cheating you can come without cheating. I haven't been to one in years, but that might be because the clubs around here are either topless only or those lame full-nude juice bars - and both feature single moms with cesarean smiles telling you they're putting themselves through community college in a three-pack-a-day rasp.
 
Pretty sure my students are going to revolt tomorrow when I don't have their papers graded, again. It's been three weeks now. They're doing peer review tomorrow for their next paper.

What's worse: I've only graded 5 of 40 so far. :bag:

Why would I want to get sexually excited surrounded by a bunch of guys in a public place? Now if there were complimentary handjobs by the waitresses while I watched the dancers I'd be forced to reconsider.

It's got to be bloody exhausting writing those passive/aggressive missives that pile up by the thousands, no? The hypocrisy is really just icing on a rather large cake. You act like the only person that's ever been spurned by someone. It happens, yet somehow the earth sun continues to rotate.

Strip clubs are OK with buddies on a rare occasion.

 
Well, after four years of back and forth, she's finally moving out this weekend.

Pretty brutal breakup from two people who have been through this before. I'm seeing a really nasty side of her. We live together, and we both love the apartment. She's fighting tooth and nail to stay here, which I surprisingly have very little problem with.

The issue is that she wants to move out of this apartment (she can't afford it), and go to a studio in the same place. I said fine, but I'd like to stay here, since I love it too. Obviously, she thinks that would be weird - and so do I, but that's when it turns nasty.

Because I just won't pick up and move out, she pouts, claims I've "won" and guilt trips several times, and that she's going to have to go live in the ghetto someplace. I would accept (begrudgingly) us living in the same complex over me having to find a different place to live.

In the end, I think it's sad that's what's making her so nasty. Then, she makes a money grab - trying to get the money for the engagement ring, then money to move out, then stuff of mine she can sell. Then calls me selfish for saying no.

Oh, well. Gave her until Sunday to move out, she agreed, and I'm going to a hotel. Life is...interesting.

Sorry to hear about all this. If you can, try and block from your mind all the #### she says in the near future. Sounds like yall had some good times together and she was a decent person. A lot of people have no idea how to break up and do a really crappy job of it. Try and stay consistent and level headed and remember, there's at least a 30% chance you get back together at some point, no matter how impossible that seems now. Good luck.

Sorry to hear about all this. If you can, try and block from your mind all the #### she says in the near future. Sounds like yall had some good times together and she was a decent person. All the ones I've been to had NAKED CHICKS at them.

That's how crazy works. It takes some time to build up, then it explodes all at once.
