GM's thread about nothing (22 Viewers)

I just had the weirdest dream. There was a a library flooded with Coca-Cola while me, some obese man and Leslie Stahl observed the action from the little rectangular window leading into it. Then I start caressing the back of Leslie's neck and she say's "beat it fatso" and I wake up.
She was telling the obese man to scram, so you and her could make with the sexy time? Or are you "fatso"?
She was talking to the obese guy.I'll edit.
Was she telling him to scram, or ...?

 That's hot.

Email I received today

He had an accident doing laundry last nite - He slipped & went down the stairs - He broke his HEEL on 1 foot, fractured his other foot & fractured 1 of his arms!!!He is currently in a cast, a walking book & an arm sling. He will probably have to have surgery on the foot with the broken heel.
Ouch. This is one of my employees. How convenient is it for someone to break at least 3 bones right before the 2nd busiest week of the year? :lmao:

I really don't get this. Are you saying you've never been to a wine tasting?
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
BTW, due to Mr. krista4's school schedule I don't see any way for us to do any mega-trips next year, so we're taking a few 7-10 day vacations instead, and we're pretty definite on making Oregon wine country and Portland one of them. What's the best time to come? June/July? Don't go out of town when we're there!
July/August is your best bet. :sadbanana:
Early July or the second half of August works great for my work schedule. Thanks for replying; thought this had been lost in the shuffle. The more I look at Oregon, the more excited I get about it.
Willamette wineries are a good time.

A couple of days ago I saw a cute young gal driving a pick up truck and it was really hot for some reason.

I just hung up the the phone with my insurance agent and she was telling me how her 17 year old daughter drives a pick up truck but still dresses up "all girly". :lmao:

One of the greatest guitar performances ever:

Tom Morello and Bruce Sprinsteen doing Ghost of Tom Joad

Even if you are not a Bruce fan, check this out

What Morello does around the 6 minute mark is truly remarkable IMO
HUGE fan of this, snagged it from youtube and slapped it on my IPOD and it is in heavy rotation

Morello's guitar cracks me up. First there is the 13 feet of guitar string juttng out the top, which is odd. Then there is the fact that he has strapped practically into his armpit, But the icing on the cake is the "Arm the Homeless" message on it

oh yeah, and it sounds AWESOME
How do you get something from Youtube to an iPod?

Like how we (probably just I) used to do back in the day. Hold the tape recorder up to the radio speaker.

And I just spent two hours doing stock research. Jeebus, even my internet life is boring.
And what did you conclude RE: teh stocks?
That my dad's portfolio of boring, dividend-paying stocks outperforms all but the most bullish markets. Not just over the long haul, but almost every day.If anyone cares...CVX, ABT, VZ, WM, KO, GE, KMP.
