Email I received today

He had an accident doing laundry last nite - He slipped & went down the stairs - He broke his HEEL on 1 foot, fractured his other foot & fractured 1 of his arms!!!He is currently in a cast, a walking book & an arm sling. He will probably have to have surgery on the foot with the broken heel.

Ouch. This is one of my employees. How convenient is it for someone to break at least 3 bones right before the 2nd busiest week of the year?

BTW, due to Mr. krista4's school schedule I don't see any way for us to do any mega-trips next year, so we're taking a few 7-10 day vacations instead, and we're pretty definite on making Oregon wine country and Portland one of them. What's the best time to come? June/July? Don't go out of town when we're there!

July/August is your best bet.

Early July or the second half of August works great for my work schedule. Thanks for replying; thought this had been lost in the shuffle. The more I look at Oregon, the more excited I get about it.

Willamette wineries are a good time.

That my dad's portfolio of boring, dividend-paying stocks outperforms all but the most bullish markets. Not just over the long haul, but almost every day.If anyone cares...CVX, ABT, VZ, WM, KO, GE, KMP.
