GM's thread about nothing (25 Viewers)

Any Boston guys know the answer to this - can you buy Legends Club passes separately from your Bruins/Celts tickets or is it a scam? There's a guy on craigslist who claims to sell them.

Best Margarita recipe:

1 cup Costco brand Margarita mix (kirkland)

1.5 cups quality tequila (I'm drinking Milagro tonight)

1 cup quality fresh OJ (like Odwalla )

mix together in a pitcher of ice

makes 2 servings.

I had to adjust the serving size, since it has been recommended that I have fewer than five drinks per evening.
Help me understand why you would buy a mix for any drinks. TIA.

(not trying to be a Richard, I really would like to know the reasoning)
This. If it doesn't include fresh squeezed lime juice, it ain't the best.
:goodposting: This is my take too... especially for Margarita's. It's such a simple recipe, and that's what makes it so good. It's a simple 3:2:1.

ETA: I usually propose 4:2:2:1 for sweeter Margarita's, using fructose.

:lmao: There isn't one. I thought of this too after I posted this. Not sure why I've busted Shuke's chops a couple of times in the last few days. For some reason I just saw a couple of softballs and swung.I guess it does look like I've got it out for him. Don't hit me, Shuke.

I just got called on my cell, twice, from 10000000000 according to the caller ID. Am I going to be killed or should I go buy some lotto tickets?

you can see Hermione's nip on Egotastic
I think I speak for GM and other idiots when I say that I have no idea what any of this means.
nip = nipple. HTH
Nip might be the only thing I understood in the post. No idea what a "Hermoine" is, and not sure what "Egotastic" is. But I'm guessing "Hermoine" is a chick and "Egotastic" is a website. Lotta nips out there on the internet.

Hermoine is Harry Potter's friend in the books and movies. In the movie she is played by Emma Watson. I assume Emma Watson's nips are visible at that website.

The road to acting success hasn’t been an easy one for Challen Cates, who plays a mom on one of Nickelodeon’s biggest shows. A Virginia native and mother of two young children, Ms. Cates stopped by CYInterview to address one of the biggest things affecting children of all ages.
  :lmao:

Just one, and just barely.

 Egotastic is a site like Tyler Durden (WWTDD.com) Emma Watson seems to have a lot of fan boys, and I figured there'd be some here.

hence the reason the word "nip" used instead of "nips"

:hifive: Why would I know that? I don't read those books and I don't watch those movies. On 'care about' level, it's up there with ballet, trig and Iowa.

I just find it hard to believe anyone living in America for the last 12+ years wouldn't have accidentally come across that name a time or two. For example, I've never watched American Idol, but I sure as hell know who Simon Cowell is. Anyway, if so, I envy your selective memory re: pop culture.

I take great pride in forgetting pop culture, or ignoring it altogether...
And even you know who Hermione is.
She's the hot chick from the Harry Potter movies, right?
yes and her nip is on Egotastic.

no idea what a hermione is but in fairness, I've gone out of my way to avoid reading, learning, or remembering anything having to do with the Harry Potter phenomenon. When people here post about it, I figure it's because they are much younger than me or maybe because they watch it with their kids.

:nerd:

Or devil-worshipers.

Just FYI for those of you who are interested:

You can see part of British actress Emma Watson's (The Harry Potter series) breast on Egotastic (celebrity gossip/nudity) website.

If the original post in question had said "Harry Potter's Hermoine" instead of just "Hermoine" I MIGHT have been able to cobble that together, but assure you that standing alone, I had no clue. Shuke struggled with it as well. And to your anlogy, there is no way to escape the Simon Cowell name because as a viewer of football on Fox, his name was broadcast in bright lights for a decade. You'd have to know the name. Tell me where the name "Hermoine" is plastered about? Harry Potter? Yes, know the name. Hermoine? No clue. Am I mildly aware that he has a girlfriend? I guess. But were this a question on "Who Wants to be a Millionaire", I would have had to 'phone a friend'...probably a female friend.
