GM's thread about nothing (41 Viewers)

when does the deli thread get interesting? I'm on page 3 and rather underwhelmed so far.
:goodposting: Read page 1 and page 7 and got bored. Page 1 was full of boring questions about cutting meat (sorry, just not intersted in that topic...just give me the damn meat, I'm not sophisticated enough to know or care how thin it is or how much it costs or how it's made) and the page 7 was about the guy's life derailing and asking for career advice. Maybe folks could direct us to the intersting stuff?
it's working out like that suggestion to bet on the Saints.investing time/money without much payoff.

I guess my brain cells started to regenerate last night because I remembered promising you guys a pic of myself with long hair.1. I didn't like and pretty much refused getting my picture taken until I was in my mid 20's and most of said hair was long gone.2. Which leaves my HS senior yearbbook picture & my senior football picture and I can't find the former.3. Should I just crop my face out? Posting that pic seems really dooshie.
No pic. Got it.

Again, if by "bailed" you mean Mrs. SLB was falling down, passed out drunk and I thought it was a better idea to bring her home instead of leaving her locked up by herself in a car in downtown St. Louis, yes, then I "bailed".

Yep exactly what I meant

Bought a $2 scratch off lottery ticket earlier today. One of those "scratch off your two winning numbers, then scratch off the other ten numbers. If any match, you win the prize associated."

My winning numbers were 10 and 12.

I start scratching numbers. I always scratch all of the numbers on the card first, and then if I match a number I look at the prize associated. My numbers are 12, 12, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 12, 10, 12, 10.

I start shaking in the car, thinking I've really hit it big.

I scratch off the prize column and it's $1 all the way down.

So angry.

how was the rest of the weekend in Chicago?
Great time except for losing my CC and accidently leaving Mrs. SLB at Wrigley Field. You know that scene in Goodfellas where Karen tracks down Henry after he stood her up on the date? Well it was a lot like that except we were at Goose Island. Last year was so epic, as told here, almost any trip is going to seem boring in comparison.

TigerFan's Bag of Meat was pretty funny. And all of his #####ing and moaning I just pictured a younger Mickey Rourke digging his finger into the potato salad to make an old lady happy.
I was being serious

Funkley - complete Brain fart..were you at one of the Mellyholes? If not, where did we meet?
First the knife in the back and now a twist of the handle. Funk was at MHII where we froze to death, I believe. He was the guy who never smiled.
Ahh...see, I need these reminders.Funk> most sincere apologies GB. I drank alot that weekend.
I think you were playing Donkey Kong the whole time.

There's a mouse in our basement. Saw him this morning. Couldn't catch him despite my best efforts using a bean bag and a kid's drum. Bought some traps. Still nothing. Watching a movie with the wife and he just popped out again. Drum, blanket, bean bag, broom, and a beach ball were all in play, but we were once again thwarted. I'd really rather catch him and bring him to the nature center across the street and let him go because I'm a giant softie, but like Drago said, "if he dies he dies."

I'm not necessarily trying to kill it. Just need it out.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Try peanut butter on the mouse traps. I had some large rats in my basement which came in a couple of winters ago as it got very cold for this region. Scared the bejesus out of me, so I called an exterminator... LARGE rats. They suggested the peanut butter because it won't come off in one piece like cheese.
