GM's thread about nothing (45 Viewers)

Bama -36.5... Alabama could name the score here and put it on the board. Lots of starters will be rested. I'd be surprised if the 1st and 2nd RB's got 20 carries between them. There is a QB battle going on and one will get the first 3 series, the other getting the following 3 series. Anybody's guess after that. I picked Kent State in my weekly, not for money pool, but just because Alabama doesn't normally cover these big lines historically, and Kent State is Saban's alma mater and tends not to run the score up if possible in situations like that (kind of like Penn State last year).
YSR>See?!?!?
When a Bama homer is telling you to take the other side, it's probably a good idea to stay away.LSU +4 seems like a must play, sorry Forrest.
Sorry, the shtick is too fun. What say you on Oregon -1.5 though?
I like LSU to win. Line seems to be 3.5 right now.

I'd like a yard guy/handiman. Must have own tools. Pay is commensurate to what a teacher in New Mexico can afford. I'd also like a pool boy. Please provide references, as well as pool. Thanks!
Can you pick up a package in Juarez for me? TIA.
Pass!I can put you in touch with someone who can get rid of any person for 5 C notes, though.
Student of yours? I've always wanted to meet a child assassin.
Former student dropout ~16 years old.

No Skoal for 20 hours now and I haven't punched anyone's mouth loose yet.
Chantix works (helps) and I didn't go crazy.I am dipping again, however.I didn't always follow the instructions correctly. I still dipped, but way less while on it. I got off and slowly ramped my way back to "normal" for me.I'll be quitting again too eventually, but one thing at a time for now. I'll probably do Chantix again and actually following instructions.

YSR - Here's who I'd pick. Thought I'd post it here for ridicule. WARNING: I am no professional handicapper guy like some of these dudes.

Utah St. (4-8) +22.5

#23 AUBURN (14-0) -22.5

Robert Turbin is a good RB…in the WAC. But Auburn should be able to shut him down and cruise.

Northwestern (7-6) +2.5

BOSTON COLLEGE (7-6) -2.5

Sounds like Persa is out for NW, which leaves Kain Colter at the helm. BC has a backup at RB for week1, but Andre Williams has talent. (and is on my fantasy team!) I'd go NW if Persa was back and healthy, but he's not.

Kent State (5-7) +36.5

#2 ALABAMA (10-3) -36.5

Jeeplvr (Bamafan) thinks they won't run it up too much on Kent State. I'd go Bama because Jeep is a dummy, but this is a coin flip.

UCLA (4-8) +3.5

HOUSTON (5-7) -3.5

Feel pretty good about Houston and Case Keenum here.

Western Mich (6-6) +13.5

MICHIGAN (7-6) -13.5

Michigan, Denard Robinson is back and will be beastly again until he breaks again. Alex Carder is a pretty good QB for WMU, but he lost his top WR from a year ago.

Troy (8-5) +16.5

CLEMSON (6-7) -16.5

This one is down to 15.5 now. I'd take Troy-they have a solid QB returning in Corey Robinson and Tajh Boyd is getting a chance to be the man in Clemson, but he didn't look good in 2010. He may struggle enough to keep it close. Clemson's D is nothing to write home about.

Minnesota (3-9) +21.5

#25 USC (8-5) -21.5

This one is up to 23.5. The homer in me says that the Gophers can cover and that the new coach will be doing his damnedest to clock manage. The realist in me knows the Gophers' biggest weakness is their pass defense and rush and USC's biggest strength is Barkley and the passing game. I would pick Minnesota because I'm dumb, but you should take USC.

BYU (7-6) -2.5

MISSISSIPPI (4-8) +2.5

Ole Miss looks like they have an improved defense. Brandon Bolden is a stud RB too.

Colorado St. (3-9) -4.5

NEW MEXICO (1-11) +4.5

GREAT MATCHUP! This one is up to 6 and with Pete Effing Thomas at QB, I can see why. (fantasy teamer!)

Florida Atl. (4-8) +31.5

#22 FLORIDA (8-5) -31.5

FAU is a sun belt bottom feeder and this line is now up to 35. FAU is starting a QB that has thrown 5 college passes. The D and Special teams might make up the bulk of that 35 point spread.

#12 South Carolina (9-5) -20.5

East Carolina (6-7) +20.5

ECU is a scrappy team led by Skip Holtz. They have performed some magic in the past. This is not one of those times as the COCKS are pretty solid in all facets.

Fresno St. (8-5) +9.5

California (5-7) -9.5

David Carr's little brother Derek takes over at QB in Fresno. They also have a pretty good running game with Robbie Rouse. Cal has a new QB and a new starting RB (ISI SOFELE!). I'd go Fresno here.

Rice (4-8) +23.5

TEXAS (5-7) -23.5

Texas isn't very explosive with Gilbert Gottfried at QB. Maybe Sam McGuffie will jump over someone.

Tulsa (10-3) +21.5

#1 OKLAHOMA (12-2) -21.5

Oklahoma on the other hand is very explosive.

#4 LSU (11-2) +1.5

#3 Oregon (12-1) -1.5

Red and Jeep and TF all like LSU, but they're getting 4 points now instead of the 1.5 listed here. I'd go Oregon with the 1.5.

#5 Boise St. (12-1) -2.5

#19 Georgia (6-7) +2.5

Georgia's defense is good, but my Kellen Moore boner is gooder. Georgia might be going with true frosh Isiah Crowell at RB.

Colorado (5-7) +6.5

HAWAII (10-4) -6.5

Hawaii is much better at home and Moniz is another slinger at QB...the Bows will put up some points.

Marshall (5-7) +20.5

#24 WEST VIRGINIA (9-4) -20.5

Despite having two fantasy players on Marshall, including super badass Travon Van, I like WVU here. This one is up to 23 now too.

SMU (7-7) +16.5

#8 TEXAS A&M (9-4) -16.5

Tough call for me here. Kyle Padron is a pretty good QB for SMU; he threw 31 TDs last year. I just think the talent is too strong on defense for A&M. They return 9 starters from a team that dropped points allowed from 33 in 09 to 21 in 08.

Tiebreaker Total - LSU at Oregon (54.5): I'll go 30-27 Oregon for 57 total.
Very cool.

My Today in History topic today is the first ATM in U.S. is opened to the public (1969). I have asked 4 classes if they know what "ATM" means and so far nobody has given the x-rated answer. I think I might be dodging bullets here.
Wait until Zartan's kid comes along. You'll have rusty trombones, dirty Sanchezes, and pearl necklaces, too.

I can put you in touch with someone who can get rid of any person for 5 C notes, though.
Let me throw a hypothetical out there, and I'm just thinking out loud here, so it really is a hypothetical, but what would this someone say if they were to get seven or eight C notes to deal with a certain set of parental units who may or may not be harassing an ifriend of mine, as well as a hypothetical FBG acquaintance? Suppose the pretend couple were really easy to locate and it would be equally easy to make it look like a pile of roofing materials or furniture or bricks or collectible dolls or what-have-you fell on them?
Hypothetically speaking, if someone were to throw in a round-trip bus ticket and a McDonald's gift card...

You need to talk more like this if you want a hot guy to play tonsil hockey with before school.

Haven't seen a black dude since Malvai Washington on the courts of the US Open. (Blake doesn't count, I think he was mixed)

On ESPN right now in the 5th site - crowd is going crazy for him.

And in between points their switching to Lisicki
USA USA USA
That was nice win for Donald Young. He was the youngest player (15) to ever win a GS juniors when he won the 2005 Australian Open Junior Championship, and the next year he became the youngest to ever reach #1 in juniors. Big disappointment as a pro - five years he's never won a title (well, five minor league Challenger events) and has only won three grand slam matches. Make that five now.

Oh, and Gael Monfils is ranked 7th in the world. But W.T.F, he's not even American.

A drug that helps one kick nicotine, but it also makes people have psychotic dreams and thoughts of suicide. YMMV.

Ughh.I had to stop taking St Johns Wort because of the dreams...One night I had the most lucid dream ever. I was a Tyrannasaurus Rex and I was on the Price Is Right. I ended up winning the high bid and going up to play Plinko. Problem is, I had T-Rex arms and couldn't get the chips over the Plinko board without tossing them out a little ways, but they'd never catch against the board and everyone kept laughing at me as the chips would fall on the floor in front of Plinko. Everyone was human except Rod Roddy was a Ptyerodactyl wearing some shiny suit hovering in place in front of a microphone.Eventually the audience started booing me because I couldn't get the chips in and the Ptyerodactyl would say "We really need to get to a commercial here Boooooob". Soon the boos turned into them throwing things at me and eventually attacking me.Anyway, I guess I died because I woke up.So - #### that Chantrix ####

I kind of want to see what all the hub is about Truck's wife, but don't know how to ask without coming off as kinda creepy.

Suggestions?
Has this really stopped you before?
Good point. Truck, I want to jerk off to Krista masturbating to your wife. Please be a bro and send pics to facilitate this (already got the Krista pics, thanks!).

I consider un-friending everyone I know from the FFA about 4-5 times a week.
I can see this. It's why I don't have any FFA friends on FB. Kinda wary of taking the plunge. Though I'm sure Homer would love being FB friends (my friends list includes many hot exstudents in their early twenties).I'm only friends with Krista because I know her from outside the FFA.

Also, hey YSR> WTF. Did you marry into a bad sitcom? Your inlaws. Divorce them immediately and be sure to cover your tracks.

First song to come on as I leave to meet Cassie at the bar "Natural Born Killers". Followed by "Deez Nuts". God bless the Eazy E Pandora Station

Windows went down in the Acura for that one. Feeling good

TCU -3.5 is just crazy. They were -14 earlier in the week and I loved them then. Baylor has stud QB, but pretty much nothing else I can see except the collective faith of the southern baptsists

The new celebration rule in college is HORRIBLE. It was bad enough before, but even worse now.
I tweeted this exact thing a few mins ago. It's brutal and it's going to end up affecting games.
I'm pretty sure if an Alabama player incurs this foul, you'll see the first on the field murder on national television. If it affects the outcome of the game, I'm completely sure there will be bloodshed. You'll see a headset disintegrate in either case.

GI Bourbon County Stout 2010
Not a big fan of the bourbon aged stouts but if you like this you need to get your hands on some Founders KBS. Not sure if Founders is distributed in Wisconsin, for your sake I hope it is.
we definitely get Founders and i have had KBS. big fan  passed up the regular Breakfast Stout tonight.. only because i almost shat myself and had to run home
Have 4 bottles of Breakfast Stout from the last release. Love that Brewery.

Um, Baylor looks good. TCU doesn't look bad to me. Baylor just looks really good compared to what I expected.
