So, as mentioned earlier, the wife was out of town (and yes, my kid is fine from falling downt he stairs - thanks for asking dickmittens). Anyway, I decided to eat like a bachelor the weekend.
Friday: Pizza for dinner with a Reese's peanut butter cup sundae after
Saturday: Fried eggs and bacon for breakfast, chicken tenders for lunch, pulled pork and BBQ bean tacos for dinner
Sunday: Fried Eggs and back for breakfast, more pulled pork and beans for lunch...
At this point, things were a little backed up. Sunday afternoon I pretty much had to take a pair of scissors and a power washer with me to the bathroom so for dinner Sunday night in addition to my steak, fried potatoes and asparagus, I had a big salad but to stay with the theme of the weekend, I loaded it up with blue cheese and bacon.
Apparently, I've knocked the clog loose because I'm about to make my 3rd trip to the bathroom and I've only been at work about an hour or so.
Just thought you'd all want to know.

and I'm number 59 at 9-3.10-2 this week.....good enough for a 58 way tie for 3rd.
The real story is he was going to retire in September. JC Corcoran first reported it and it got distorted into "he's taking the White Sox job." After TLR denied it and the story unfolded, JC caught a lot of crap for "making a story up".

Warmth I'm guessing. You see, in Minnesota deer hunting in the winter is a common activity. People think it is fun to wake up at 5:00 when it's -20 outside and throw on every layer of clothing they have and sit in a tree stand by themselves on the hopes they see one animal and their fingers aren't too frozen to shoot it.Is it so the deer don't recognize you or something?

Francona or Joe Madden are the rumors.Wonder if they'll just give the job to Oquendo.There's a lot of things he can be criticized for but he's retiring after a damned fine career and multiple World Series rings. Helluva way to go out.

The guy is getting my spring training passes next Spring so I suppose I should learn to spell his name. Although I don't know any "Joe Madden" football coaches either.

I ate a special brownie yesterday. I had to call my wife to come pick me up by 5pm. I was a wreck. My head is still fuzzy this morning. Having a very difficult time doing anything. Holy moly....

This is the first time I heard about this. I get this: somehow growing a mustache in November will raise money for charity?
If this is the case, and the GMTAN is forming a team, I'm on board. Never had just a stache before. My students will get a kick out of it.
ETA: I am one hirsute mofo if I care to be. Can grow a badass beard in no time flat. FB people can see pics of my 1 month beard.

Brownies will do that. When I ate them back in the day, it'd be like tripping balls for hours - the high was so much more intense - and the 'hang over' would be equally stupid. I'd be a neanderthal the whole next day, completely dysfunctional.

Yeah, this is no good. I'm a complete waste today. I have never felt like this. I don't like it.
Something like that happened near where I grew up but it was rival bowling centers. It was a sad situation. The place that burnt down didn't have enough insurance coverage to rebuild.
