ETA Just occured to me that I heard the gun shot. It is so freaking quiet out here that anything usual really stands out. I remember thinking it was pretty odd to only hear 1 gun shot. I would think if somebody was shooting guns there would be more.

Of course I was pretty wasted at the time. I thought I texted HJS last night but this morning it appears I sent it to a random number.

I suppose the premise is the charge can't be transmitted to a bank at 40K feet unless they really want to go out of their way to start doing it.

I've heard prepaid credit cards that have expired or have $0 funds also can work for "buying" drinks. Not sure about newer planes that have an internet connection.

This would work as well. I'm also not sure about the internet connected planes, but I'd be willing to bet they haven't tied those together yet either. It's probably not a big enough issue to replace equipment over.

I sorta do. It's not my usual MO, but she seems to get off on it. After this last time, she asked me what my buddy said about it and was amused and proud of the general response. If I was sneaking around and not open with it, then I'd feel like a bit more of a sleaze bag. If she gets up set or asks me to stop, I will, no questions asked. I saw them live on the Mother's Milk tour and they were good. 2 years later I don't think would have gone to one of their concerts if it was free.

For some reason, our "Alternative Rock" station (yes, I still listen to car radio, tech dorks) which normally plays pretty good and newish music, feels a need to play a heavy dose of their very worst and most obnoxious songs. I cannot believe I ever even once thought "Give it away now" was a good song.
