I'm the same way. I've got a thick comforter on my bed, so I'm fine there. But, on weekends, I'm wearing shorts and am barefoot when I'm home.

Btw, I'm gonna leave the "do you only turn your furnace up one degree a day" joke to others

We don't have a furnace or boiler or radiator - its all one unit. But yes, I do probably adjust it one degree at a time. We keep the place warm during the day and then cooler at night when sleeping.

Took my sons to the local HS football game tonight. Anybody wearing a toga got in free. It was a scene, man. I took a flask with me thinking I might have a chance to mix a small cocktail, but after running into every kid I ever coached over the last 5 years and all their parents, I thought better of having whiskey breath.

So put me in the stone cold sober camp. Also the "out of weed" camp. This "Dr. Greenthumb" I've been using lately is about as reliable as an Astros' relief pitcher. Would love a night of knock out, but have to coach soccer bright and early. Considering my team got clobbered 4-1 last week, I should just get hammered and let Hazel coach the team.

Well, hi everyone. Things suck but they really aren't so bad when I step back and look at it. I'm getting honest with myself, my career, my finances. That's new for me. I'm drinking rum and cherry 7up warm because the ice maker is broke, and I'm out of smokes. Maybe ill go get some more in a bit. Maybe not. But it could be worse. I talked to some people - the worst people to owe money to - I owe a ####bload of money to in the last week and they're willing to work with me to get it paid. I got honest with my business partners about the state of things and what we can do to fix it. I listened to some music I had forgotten about today and it made me happy. I have anothrr kid on the way and i slipped and told my mom her name but its cool because she liked it and it made her feel good to he in on the secret.

Bentley invited me to his magic football league. Trey made a video pumping in three dollars of gas. Everyone made fun of my kids name then didnt. It could be worse. A lot worse.

So this is being 36. It's not all skittles and blow jobs but it will do. Sleep tight Jim tan.

I can't recommend Granada highly enough. Krista's place is great, Julio's a blast, not speaking much (any) Spanished is ok (the ATMs also have Ingles - just like here!), it's safe, and the entire trip is cheaper than a lot of tropical places. Plus - the Isle of Monkeys and superheromidgetgoddess across the street!

Certainly. Just never had a woman keep my up to date on bowel movements. Though - on a related note - my first wife would give me a daily countdown on when her period would start. She had god-awful PMS and wanted to make sure I was warned plenty.

This no drinking stuff isn't all that bad. Cal spent the night at his GB's and that little jack off Dylan woke me up at 7:30. We took a 4 mile walk together first. Then we came home and kicked the soccer ball around. After that was a game of checkers even though he wants me to teach him chess. Then to the hardware store and lunch at Steak N Shake after that. Now he has a soccer game. I'm telling you no way do I get this much stuff done with a hangover.

Pretty sure Steak N Shake kids working are scamming too. It was 11:00 so they were very slow and it took the kid almost 4 minutes to give me my total. This doesn't happen if you put the order into the computer and of course there wasn't a receipt. Plus my one kid's meal and one burger with a cheese fry was wrong too. I called and they are giving me a $25 gift card. Of course I e-mailed corporate about it too. GET OFF MY LAWN!!!!
