Shuke/Guster - had a bunch of leftover chili and leftover sphagetti noodles, so I decided to mix them both.

Much better with corn chips and I'd venture to say, better by itself. Am I missing something? Just a regional thing?
It's the flavor and texture
I usually suggest people enter into the world of Cincinnati chili with
skyline dip: a layer of cream cheese, a layer of chili, a layer of shredded cheddar baked and served with Fritos scoops
I think the big issue is that people hear chili and thing a bowl of meat, tomatoes and spices (no beans) that you eat with a spoon. The consistency of Cincinnati chili doesn't really lend itself to that, but serves well as a meat sauce on top of spaghetti.
Now you're making me crave skyline. Wish there was one within walking distance
