GM's thread about nothing (47 Viewers)

so my wife has recently started to use ebay for clothes shopping and has found some decent deals. the only problem is she using my account and now I have become the one who watches the bids and tries to get them for her. I have two ending within the hour. Funny how it goes from "honey can I have your ebay info so I can look at a few things" to me now being her ebay assistant.

Boy, this ebay thing is easy! She should have started doing this years ago!

If you "accidentally" buy something hideous instead of what she wanted, would that get you out of it going forward? Or buy something different and then tell her that you know it's not what she wanted, but you thought this would look better...and it's 3 sizes too big...

I know

honestly, I hadn't even used my account for years until she recently discovered it so it took some time to remember how to navigate and bidding strategies. the good news is this one jacket she is looking to win is in the $100 range so I am going to work it in as a V-Day present. It is worth a shot :excited:

HR sent an email to everyone saying basically "it's not big issue, but please remember to keep internal group emails professional and end the emails with "Sincerely" or "thank you" instead of "I love you" or "xoxo", it is funny and while customers don't see it, it would be better to not do it.. blah blah blah"

I responded with:

Thank you, I agree completely and have been waiting for someone to address this.

Hugs and kittens,

I don't think that would phase her. I have tried to teach her in the past but she loses interest really quickly. So I try to watch out for auctions when I can but its getting to the point where we are going to need to have a sit down and discuss her bidding and making sure she follows through with it. should be a great discussion

love it

let us know if you get a response back. I bet whomever received it really doesn't even know where to go from there.

MOP seems to thinking being a teacher is super easy. He's probably right.
I am really wondering if it is shtick. No one can really think teaching is just showing up, writing some math problems on the board, answering some questions, leaving school at 3:30, getting blackout drunk, and pushing women out of cars or can they?

sounds like you need to buy her something slutty.... she will never ask you again
"I know you wanted that Coach purse, but I thought you'd really get more use out of these vibrating panties."
:lmao: I have thought about going the lingerie route but then I quickly came to my senses that buying potentially worn lingerie would not be good for all parties involved.
Vintage vibrating panties.

Prof. Inkling down? Dude sports a freaking monocle. Seriously, this is the 1st time I ever heard of these things as I do not have kids :bag:

Giving MoP's opinion on teaching (or anything that requires common sense, intelligence, and normal human emotions) any serious consideration would be like listening to LarryBoy talk about geology and/or biology.
