Anyone else here have a Bosch dishwasher? I have had one for about 3 months now and it makes my old GE sound like a semi running through my kitchen. It shines a light in the floor to let you know it's on.

Just installed one last summer. I don't have the fancy light, but I love how quiet it is.

man the Weather Channel is really pissing me off. they were keep promising to talk about the latest projects for the Mid-Atlantic/North East after weather on the 8's 20+ minutes later, they still hadn't talked about it. Finally did it about 30 mins afterward.

we bought a house this year and moved in November. House had stainless steel appliances in great condition. Awesome I think but when we move in, we find out the dishwasher sucks donkey ####. It is a Frigidaire and it runs semi-quietly. The thing that drives me crazy is it is poorly designed. Putting dinner sized plates in the dishwasher prevents the spinning water jet thing from spinning properly. Who designs a dishwasher than can't even accommodate dinner plates. Piece of crap - we are looking to replace down the line.

Takes me 3 minutes to make stovetop popcorn in an old fashioned hand crank popcorn maker. Melt butter in a saucepan in parallel and drizzle/salt/toss. Boom, 4 minutes max and you've got way better tasting popcorn

MIL is fairly stable at this point. The bleeding in her brain finally stopped sometime in the middle of the night last night. They still have no idea what caused it. Going to do another MRI today.

She's in fairly good spirits at this point all things considered. Wife took off work today to go spend it with her. Right now, doctors are saying they plan in keeping her for a few more days for observation and then sending her for some rehab since she still has some vision problems and trouble finding the right word at times. Hopefully she'll be able to regain all that because going back to work or even living alone would be questionable.
