GM's thread about nothing (48 Viewers)

Mata's cooking up some fresh-cut bacon and making potato cakes out of the leftover baked spuds from last night. Coffee & mimosas. Perfect birthday breakfast!

If this little #### Alex would quit losing ####, the Paw Patrol wouldn't have to save his ### every damn time. What a chode.
He lost his backpack today and he needed the Paw Patrol to find it for him because the school bus was coming. They have to keep asking him where he could have lost it. Instead of telling them everywhere it could be, he tells them one at a time, and wastes a #### load of time in the process. The Paw Patrol has better things to do, Alex. Get your #### together.

Hb gbuh.

Played a game of "hide upstairs watching the premier league until somebody notices" this morning. Made it through the end of the Liverpool game.

Hall & Oates> discuss
Love'em. Wasn't a huge fan in the day, but they have grown on me over the years. Nice touch of Philly soul does it.

Daryl's House is excellent if you are a fan or at all interested. No real need for Oates ...

Philly Soul with Todd
Sorta the same with me. I liked the early hits up through "Rich Girl", then kind of gave up on them when they blew up in the early 80s. Looking back, though, "Out Of Touch" and all those have held up really well.

Fleetwood Mac is another I didn't appreciate at the time they hit big, but have come to appreciate them more and more. I think the fact that I was a teenager in the mid-70s may have played into my dislike of them - I couldn't relate to most of what they sang about.

Oh, and Todd is a genius.
Good call on a similar take with Fleetwood Mac. I liked them fine (meaning I never turned the station when they came on - and was infatuated with Stevie Nicks) but never owned any of the albums ...even Rumours. Someone else always had it on at parties, etc.

The wife and I saw them this past winter sans McVie and they were kick-### good. Probably has a lot to do with getting older and looking back, but damn they were good (discussed in another thread also).

We are kindred spirits of the Todd guy. Not a lot around, but that seems to make it sweeter for some reason.

Do you guys still like me? I feel like I've been largely ignored in here the past few weeks.
I love you
I  bentley, so by the transitive property, I also  shuke.
Thanks. Sorry my post sounded needy. I'm going through a mini bout of depression right now.
I see that my post, which was the FIRST one, expressing my love for you means nothing!!! Well, #### you Shuke #### you!

Oh and one other thing that was hilarious. The very first scene Graham is investigating a dual homicide. It looks like a fairly fresh crime scene. He notices an alarm control panel on the wall. He asks somebody off-screen for the alarm companies incident file or something and they hand him a file folder in like 3 seconds. :lmao: Where the hell did that come from? It looked like a scene from Police Squad.
He's not exactly a first responder.
It's foolish. Sloppy writing. But feel free to enjoy it.
Perhaps if he made his boss walk up several flights of stairs and vomit oysters and booze right at the perfect moment it would be more believable.
:lmao: OK

Happy birthday, my man. May all you dreams come true.

Also, thanks to Tanner, Heckmann & Sofa for liking my hilarious, somewhat accurate, FB post under the pic of my wife and kids.

Also, also, I've faked an orgasm twice in the last ten hours.

Happy Easter!

Great, I can't stop watching these now.

I hate you.
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

They're pretty awesome.
Best parts might be him trying to read the ad copy/taglines for the sponsors:

"Broughtayouby....monk knee shudder whiskey....a cheeky union!"

Just watched his "Would you rather be Ron Jeremy or Peter North?" segment. His choice? "the guy who produced Elvis XXX."

Larry, you shine on, shining star.
Jeebus, what a trainwreck. :lmao:

He makes Kige Ramsey look like Sir Lawrence Olivier.
He was just some random guy that called into the radio show and now he's a local celebrity. He lives up in Mojos area actually. Somebody called in a month ago and said they saw him walking (he doesn't have a driver's license but is in college) in the pouring down very cold rain. Guy pulls over and offered him a ride. Larry asks if he can smoke in his car. Guy says no and Larry says no thanks then. :lmao:

Am I the only one who doesnt like pancakes?
No, there are a bunch of cannibals and other assorted horrible human beings who probably agree with you.
:goodposting:
Not a pancake fan. Been discussed in its own thread, but it seems to me that fresh waffles have a number of advantages over pancakes.

- offer crisp and crunch ...along with the creamier inside similar to a pancake

- doesn't get soggy immediately

- tons of pockets to capture butter and maple syrup loads instead of sliding off

I am not a fan of soggy cereal - pancakes are the equivalent compared to waffles.
