GD this ####### like system is more rigged than a rodeo. Somehow got more like likes, handed out 3 in the baseball forum, 2 in GMTAN and then

Aw cripes

I guessed correctly.

Had a major IT work problem that involved another build. Also had to drop my son off for travel soccer tryouts on other side of town.

Plan was drop him off and dial in to babysit problem(wait for build to be generated and deployed). Build was either gonna fix it and all is well or it was deep doo-doo time.

Here in the land of strip malls, I could get WiFi at the ale house or next strip mall down is Panera's.

I went Ale House and build fixed problem. Crisis averted.

 :towelwave:

Still really looking forward to visiting the Angola Prison Rodeo this fall. I should probably begin making plans.

TF or HF, you guys are welcome to cornhole. Prison cornholes are the best. :excited:

I cheer for the bull....to kill.
This...at least in bull fighting the bull has a chance. In rodeo the scaredy cats rely on clowns and run for the nearest gate.
Huh? In bull fighting, the animal ends up dead after bleeding to death. In bull riding, he works for no more than 8 seconds and ends up getting to #### any chick he wants until the next time he's asked to work.
Bulls hit

GM>the Packers bought a lottery ticket in the person of Colt Lyerla. Duck fans on the innerwebs think he's a punk who will screw up almost instantly. Any reason to think otherwise? I'll hang up and listen.
He thinks Sandy Hook was a hoax. Vocalized it on Twitter. I have nothing nice to say about that young man. Immensely talented. Blessed with unbelievable gifts. But he is a bad bad guy.
i think you mean to say he's going to be a great Packers player and will destroy the Bears twice a year for a decade

also, the Packers don't draft bad guys. it's true.
How about I break down the UD part of UDFA for ya?
:bag:

what weekend are you going again? you doing any NOLA or BR?
Haven't booked anything yet so not 100%, but ideally...

Oct 25th weekend I think.

Fly into NO Friday. So drink.

LSU game Saturday night. Much booze.

Angola Prison Sunday afternoon. Very wow.

Back to NO for more drinking and Saints SNF game at a bar.

Is there fantasy rodeo, and do you lose points if your guy dies? Do you need to pick bulls too?

I'm looking to buy a couple of city/commuter bicycles if anyone has them for sale. I have an ipod Shuffle and three 16" wheel covers from a 2006 Rav4 (these will probably fit other models/years but I don't know).

Oh yeah, sorry to hear about your ordeal, Roverfish.
I bought my wife this for xmas.

still new, unused

I got myself this

it is also new and unused at this point
You looking to deal?
Yes, but I don't have a three wheeled RAV4

I want a motorcycle.

Am I right that there was not ever a prettier song than Somewhere Over the Rainbow?

I'm certain of it. Go ahead and watch the original Wizard of Oz, report back.

My fall vegas trip is a cluster right now b/c nobody can agree to a date and I have to be out of the country for work at least 1 week and maybe another in Sept/Oct...so I don't know when I'm available and when I'm not. Keep me posted and I'll let you know what's up. Also, if you need places to stay/go, let me know and I can guide you in the right direction.

There are 3 movies I told my wife I will never ever ever let my kids watch.

1. Wizard of Oz

2. Mary Poppins

3. Sound of Music

My mom made me watch all of these "classics" as a kid and I hated them with a passion. No way I'm subjecting my boys to this ####.

Hope everything went well shuke
shuke,

Hope your daughter does alright with the surgery. That kind of crap terrifies me.
Thanks guys. She did really well. Took a good nap when we got home and was in good spirits tonight. But she definitely has some double vision and is putting her arms out when she walks near walls or objects. This can be typical for a little time while the brain adjusts to the eyes being aligned, but it is not easy for me to watch. But she kept making jokes about there being two of whatever she was looking at.

Re: your son, it seems like a no-brainer to NOT make him do it in front of people. Why not take him to a parking lot on a Sunday for some place that is closed? There has to be somewhere else you can do it, otherwise you may only be making things worse.
I agree I have to get him somewhere else. Someone posted a link earlier about going down a grassy slope, maybe Bobby Sac. Thanks, looks like good advice.
My son was the exact same way after his eye surgery. Everything turned out great. Hope it's the same for you GB
Thanks. How long did it last for your son?
