There was a clip from an old movie of Donna Reed (I think) smashing a record because Happy was playing...so I accidentally heard about 7 seconds of the song.

Yeah, I asked my realtor® a couple of days ago to find this out, but I don't think he has yet. I don't even know if they're moving to the city like you or the suburbs like Babe. Why don't you throw out some general suggestions that I could tailor appropriately when I find out? I was counting on you as Mr. Texas to know this one.

A giant belt buckle and some cowboy boots.(Only partially schtick. I was aghast at how many people had giant belt buckles, cowboy boots and cowboy hats when I flew into Dallas. It was like they were making fun of themselves or something)

As I mentioned last week, I am currently off work until next Tuesday. Believe it or not, I am actually looking forward to waking up with my boys and making them breakfast all week, since I am usually out the door by 5:30am and don't get to see them till about 6pm.

Today we kept it simple with some peanut butter on raisin bread, banana, and some chocolate milk.

Home watching Jaws and getting drunker. (really good)

24-year old is coming in the morning to go boating and get drunk. (winning)

I discovered a true gem last night. There is an awesome, authentic, open 24 hours, taco joint more or less in my neighborhood. How did I not know about this place until now?

And they sell beer. Cheaply.

So my wife is crossing Delancey (major street that leads to the Williamsburgh Bridge) this morning pushing my daughter in the stroller- a car flies through the left turn onto Delancey and hits the stroller, almost knocking it over. The car then takes off, leaving my wife freaked out and screaming. She managed to take down a few digits of the license plate and take a blurry photo of the car with her phone. She calls the cops- who are at first very dismissive ("you don't have all the digits of the license plate? oh... we can't even file a report then") until EMS gets there and they see that this is a serious thing.

Thank god, Wife is ok, daughter is ok and even the stroller is ok. ####### people. I'm hoping that real life can imitate art here and somebody can use their infinite CSI/Law and Order computer zoom/focus to get the license plate and bust this #######.

Oh, I took the penny, all right. Because the total due was $4.99, not $5.00. I will admit to being frugal, but I will not apologize. I don't make FBG money, so if I want to go to Vegas twice a year, I have to economize elsewhere.
