On one hand I don't ever go into GNC and find a lot of the products in these places to exploit the health industry, not actually things people really need to take or ingest. 

-However it saddens me to see jobs lost and just because I personally do not shop there doesn't mean it wasn't a good things for many folks. 

-I feel like the real hard cuts haven't come yet and the reason even The President is speaking about a 2nd Round Stimulus is because something worse than what we are experiencing at the moment is on the horizon. I wish my crystal ball was a little clearer but I think people need to start preparing for the inevitable. What is that? A lot more chaos so if you thought 6 month supply of TP was enough just as a basic example...I might take that out to 18-24 months. And I would load up on staples and basics. 

BTW: I'm praying that I look back in 6 months and laugh at myself and others who went way crazy in over preparing. I will love that day and I want to be ribbed, poked and prodded that day, with great delight on my face because I will know we are back to the way things were prior...it's a New World right now folks.

You have to wonder, on the retail landscape, how retailers with multiple locations will keep these sites open.  We were already going online as an economy and COVID will further exaserbate this trend.  I think we will see services, but retailers will be cutting down.  I mean, i go to a staples and office max and they carry nothing.  2021 landscape will be closures and shopping centers with grocery, pizza, nails, dry cleaning and chinese food.

I feel terrible for their employees but I love their products. I use their multivitamins and I love their lean shakes. The chocolate mocha flavor is legit. I’ve been ordering from them online since the quarantine

This. GNC prices were always problematic. You can always find it cheaper somewhere else, especially online. And as much as it's convenient to drop in and grab a few items, the physical storefront model isn't financially viable for supplements & vitamins in the age of ecommerce. Also their balance sheet was terrible before covid, and the business has been deteriorating for years.
