Going forward: Rank these 6 WR's (1 Viewer)

Please rank them not only 1-6, but also with a "WR1".."WR2"...and "WR3" tag.

My thoughts:

Harrison WR1

AJ WR1 (although...after 4 weeks can we forget that last year in 12 starts he had only 2 TD's and less than 700 receiving yards??)

Stallworth WR2 (IF healthy..and that's a big "IF")

Glenn WR2

Galloway WR2 (a bit risky..? being that we really know nothing about Gradkowski)

Jennings WR2/3 (through five weeks he looks like a solid WR2, but...it's early..and he's a rook)

Thoughts?

I'm a frustrated Harrison owner and would probably lower him because Indy is in this whole establish the run/dominate the line phase. AJ has been a beast so far and Carr is having a great year. I don't see why he won't end up as the top guy in that group. I would probably go Harrison # 2 because you know he'll get the targets. I think Glenn is pretty consistent with TO on the other side, he'll get his chances. I would then probably take Jennings--although he's a rook, the Packers will be a throwing a lot. Given how much Mcnabb likes to spread the ball around, I think Stallworth will be the model of inconsistency this year (even if he's healthy). I believe the Eagles have had a different 100 yd receiver each week. Galloway is on a terrible team with an unproven qb. I rank him last.

People are giving up on Galloway too early this year....probably because he put up a big fat ZERO in week one. But since he has been really good. He was a Top 5 WR last year with Simms being an unknown....why not a Top 10-15 this year with Gradkowski as an unknown? He may do even better and get into the Top 10 or TOP 5

2. Harrison -- consistent

3. Glenn -- he will get a good number of looks, even with TO

4. Jennings -- a rookie, so I expect a dropoff and he has Driver, but GB will pass

5. Galloway -- good game last week, but a rookie QB is never a good thing

6. Stallworth -- injuries will keep him down

1. Steve Smith - no brainer?

2. Andre Johnson - they'll be playing catchup all year

3. Reggie Wayne - gotta get hot, no?

4. Anquan Boldin - fitz is hurt, schedule is favorable

5. TJ Houshmanzadeh - seems healthy again

6. Laverneus Coles - injury concerns, but a yardage eater

7. Bernard Berrian - can he keep up his pace

8. Terry Glenn - scared of a Dallas debacle

Your rankings and/or thoughts?

1. Steve Smith - sooo many touches and so much trust with Delhomme.

2. Anquan Boldin - schedule, no fitz, need to pass

3. Andre Johnson - catchup and Carr is playing very well and locked in to AJ.

4. Laverneus Coles - See AJ; locked in QB and playing from behind. Hurt a little by Cotchery.

5. Terry Glenn - locked in with Bledsuck. Bledsuck will get it there enough.

6. Reggie Wayne - Lots of competition for catches and teams running so much that they take Manning off the field.

7. TJ Houshmanzadeh - Lots of competition for catches, hard to predict like Reggie Wayne.

8. Bernard Berrian - Should keep it up, but will have to continue proving it to us since Chicago won't need to pass in the 2nd half very often!

Pick people's brains.Find guys to target that maybe I rank lower than most.The opposite of above.Where are gaps in other people's views between players I think are pretty close in value.I think more threads should focus on groups of players.Should I go on?I guess I could have posted 8 different buy/sell/holds to find some of the same things or put more thought into the thread like fornov obviously did his.
