Going to the Penguins game tomorrow, where to sit? (1 Viewer)

Pretty wide variety of options on StubHub. I've leaning towards definately getting something in Row A. Is it worth the extra $100 to be down in the 100's row A vs the 200's in row A? Have also found a few near center ice, some on the goaline, and some behind the goal area. If you had the choice to sit wherever you wanted where would you choose?

I haven't seen the prices on stubhub but I checked the prices on Pens ticket exchange earlier today and they're dirt cheap, especially for a playoff game. Check that first. People are jumping off the bandwagon fast.

There's the lower bowl and upper bowl, that's it, and IMO there's a huge difference. Fork up the money sit lower bowl if you got the cash. If you're sitting lower bowl row A is terrible. That close to the glass makes for bad sight lines.

If I could sit anywhere it'd be 10 rows off the ice behind the penalty box right at center ice.

Yeah, I've only ever been to one game and sat 8 rows off the ice at center ice. Found center ice, 11th row, for $233/ticket on the exchange. Found in the corners on the Pens goal (104), row B, for $180/ticket.

I've watched more hockey than any other sport by a long a shot. If possible my preferred place to sit is lower bowl, about mid way up in one of the corners that my team shoots at twice. Sitting up higher is better to see the play develop and catch what might be happening behind the play. Sitting in the corner allows me to see the puck in three of the four corners, you only lose the puck in your corner. If you sit on the sides or ends you will miss two corners.

Center Ice, first few rows of the second section if you can get them aka Center Ice 15-25 rows up from the ice. I also prefer being on the opposite side of the benches.
