going undefeated and winning it all (1 Viewer)

in one of my dynasty leagues we have a team that is 13-0. I have played in about 50 FF leagues in 13 years. I have never seen a team go undefeated in the regular and win the SB.

anyone have this happen in one of your leagues?

I told him he does not want to be the New England of FF

I could see it happen in a dynasty more than in a redraft. You could really build up a powerhouse in dynasty via trading draft picks and several years of good decisions.

I like the strategy of putting a curse on him. Never seen it happen, but I've got a team in one of my leagues that went 0-13 this year. That was a first.

I was so close this year. Finished the regular season 12-1 and the playoffs should be easy.

I had about 400 points more than the 2nd place team.

I agree with this. I've got a 13-0 dynasty team. Much more likely in a dynasty where can stockpile talent.

95% of my FF play in 13 years has been dynasty. never seen a team go undefeated till this year. I think the luck factor is to great in any type H2H league

The luck factor is great in any type of H2H league, but I don't think that means it's not easier in dynasty than redraft. I've playing FF for 20 years myself (including a lot of redraft), and I can't even think of a team that had a 12-1 regular season in redraft in that span, while my same dynasty team has done at least that good in each of the past three seasons.

In my redraft league last year a guy went undefeated 15-0 til he met my team in the Championship. After that he was 15-1.

Red Dog fantasy football league, with FBG staff and message board players had a team go undefeated and win the SB

A guy in my league almost had a perfect season in 08. His team was talented but he had a TON of luck on his side. He went 13-0 and made it all the way to the championship game before losing. We all chipped in and bought him a "15-1" t-shirt.

Soulman, where ya been??Yeah, that's a good team Mike has.

I went undefeated in a redraft in '98 (Terrell Davis/ Randal cunningham combo).

I have been close in a really large 16 team IDP dynasty that played double headers but lost one game in the regular season and had a tie (24-1-1).
What's a soulman?
Sorry, thought you were Chris Souldman...calls himself Soulman. He and Mike and I were in a couple of leagues together for a few years but Chris left all the leagues. Hadn't seen him in a while.

Two years ago I actually did have a team that was what I called the patriots - i got beat in the super bowl after an undefeated season. It was a stacked team but was limping to the finish after some late season injuries. Not really any close games all season (all play record was something like 90%) but then a 1 pt win in the division round of the playoffs and got whooped in the championship.

I did it last year in Phenomz Dynasty (14 team league, 24 player rosters which was in it's 4th year at the time). Undefeated regular season + won the title.

My Title game starting lineup (last year)

Roethlisberger, Ben PIT QB vs Ravens Sun 12:00 p.m. CT

Benson, Cedric CIN RB vs Chiefs Sun 12:00 p.m. CT

Peterson, Adrian MIN RB at Bears Mon 7:30 p.m. CT

Fitzgerald, Larry ARI WR (P) vs Rams Sun 3:05 p.m. CT

Johnson, Andre HOU WR at Dolphins Sun 12:00 p.m. CT

Lewis, Marcedes JAC TE at Patriots Sun 12:00 p.m. CT

Longwell, Ryan MIN PK at Bears Mon 7:30 p.m. CT

Saints, New Orleans NOS Def vs Buccaneers Sun 12:00 p.m. CT

I went undefeated once a bunch of years back and proceeded to lose in my first playoff game. The team was decent but was more of a product of favorable schedule.

One team I played against went 0-13 two years ago. That was too funny. You need to have really bad luck and a really bad team to not sneak one win.

There is a team 13-0 in my redraft league. 650 points more than the next team!

qb- Vick, Fitzpatrick

rb- Rice, Foster, Best, Law Firm, Mike Goodson

wr- Roddy White, Bowe, Jennings, T.O., Tampa Mike, Kenny Britt

te- Tamme

Pitt D

This team is probably the best team I have ever seen in my 5 years of playing. Running the table is possible but extremely hard unless your team is SUBSTANTIALLY better than the rest of the league because the week to week variance it too high.

A team in our Minor Leagues went 13-0 this year. It's only his 2nd year playing FF.

I went through his draft and with one exception it wasn't out of line. He just went 6 for 6 with 6 HR's in his 1st 6 rounds.

His closest win was 20 points...so nothing was even close.

In my 17 years and 50+ leagues, it's the 1st undefeated regular season I've been involved in.

What's interesting is that Both his QBs, Kenny Britt and Tamme were very likely plucked from the ww.

i have been there. about 5/6 years ago(LT's blow up year) I went 12-1. round 2 of the playoffs my team tanked

My B (feeder) league once had a team go undefeated in the Regular Season, won in the semis, and lost in the title game. Per the rules, the title game winner got called up to the A league but not the previously undefeated owner. The B league is a true redraft league.

Half of that owner's starting lineup consisted of Colts. She made it through the bye week effectively but The Colts laid an egg that final week (this was in 2000).

I'm in moneyleague PPR IDP redraft league and my first lost of the season was last night. I'm now 12-1. The bad part? I lost 213 to 212.45. .55 points separated me from the perfect regular season which I've never done before. Patrick chung that little #####!

Went 12-0 for my first Championship in the my home league in 2005. 5th of the league, now in its 10th, Re-draft PPR. Rode Steve Smith (before you had to clarify which one), LT, Lamont Jordan (PPR Machine that year), and Marvin Harrison all the way to the promised land, winning all 16 weeks (Two 2 week cumulative playoff periods)

One and only time I've seen it in my leagues over the years. Almost pulled a Pats too, as I won my 2 week super bowl by something like 8 pts.

12 team redraft league; championship game is played week 17 (yeah, I know.....). Top 2 seeds get a BYE 1st round of the playoffs which is week 15. In 2007, the owner who drafted both Brady & Moss went undefeated, had a BYE (the one week when Brady actually had a stinker), and waltzed to the championship. In my 15 years of fantasy, most of those in multiple leagues, I've never seen such a dominating seaosn from a fantasy team in a league I was in. His #3 WR was Marshall, and he was more than serviceable at RB. I had the 2nd highest regular season scoring team & wound up 350 pts behind him...
