Good money leagues (1 Viewer)

Hey Guys,

I'm looking to join some anonymous money leagues this year, preferably ones where the site keeps very little of the prize money (less than 10%). I see that CBS keeps about half of the prize money (what a rip-off!), and found some other sites that pay back around 80% of the prize money.

What sites do you guys consider to be reputable and would feel comfortable with joining a higher-stakes league where you are still confident that you will get paid if you win.

Also, are there a lot of league's formed on these boards and if so how trustworthy are they? Where/how is the money kept and what site do most of you use?

Thanks in advance!

Well-run PPR leagues and prompt payments to winners.

Also, it allows a QB to be started at flex, which is rare.

Phenoms is absolutely reputable and has lots of folks from here playing. There are some high stakes leagues.

:banned: This is my third year playing in unlucky's leagues, Phenoms FF. Just sent him a check for four leagues.

Did win two leagues two years ago and received the money plus he gives you a small medal. Go and sign up. but watch out for the Welsh Corgis.......

Have to agree with the majority...Phenoms is great and I received my payment right around Christmas (as soon as the season ended). This will be my 2d year after 9 with CBS sportsline. Unlucky does a helluva job.

While I agree with everyone about Phenoms, I would also point out that both WCOFF and NFFC run "satellite" leagues in amounts from $100 to $1000.

The paybacks are not as good as phenoms, but if you want to get a handle on playing those rules to compete in the BIG events next year or beyond, they are a good play - for a $100 team this year, you could win a free entry to the NFFC main event next year AND learn all the rules, scoring etc. :lmao:

I would probably join as well if there was another option besides the serpentine draft...double serpentine or 3rd Round reversal...maybe next year...if LT does anything close to what he did last year you will see a HUGE majority of teams that picked #1 overall win their leagues...I'm not saying you can't win from another draft slot...I'm just saying you will have your work cut out for you with the LT owner also getting 2 more top picks at the turn of round 2 and 3...good luck

I typically don't do the anonymous leagues over the net thing, but...

Decided to become a Phenoms rookie this year after reading this. First time using the Auction style as well. Hopefully I don't get destroyed.

There are several high quality leagues out there. Phenoms, PayDay, Rotobowl, WCOFF satellites and such.

Google around - but soon there may be an easier way to find them all..... :)

Make sure you go to fantasyauctioneer.com , and do a couple of mock auctions to get a feel for the software. Love the Phenoms' auction leagues, doing the 8-27 auction, are you in that one?Big :lmao: for the Phenoms Leagues.

I'll give another vote to Fantasy Jungle. Scott and Mike's reputation is beyond reproach and their customer service is excellent. They just opened up Satellite Leagues, also. $50 buy in Satellite for their Main event in 08 ($500 buy in) and a $100 Satellite for their High Roller league in 08 ($1000 buy in). :(

www.phenomsff.com hmmmmm. Advertising paid by our own footballguys.com??? $$$$

How long before FBG has thier own leagues?

I was thinking about starting my own high stakes league, but after seeing this, I'm just gonna go with Phemons.
